First trip to Ravine Vineyard. Enjoyed a quick tasting and bought some nice reds Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for a later Canada day celebration and the Pizza is no longer on the menu.

What I liked the most about Ravine Winery was the buildings themselves. Housed in an old farm house it was a refreshing break from all of the large modern and castle like wineries that have gone up over recent years in the Niagara on the Lake area. The restaurant is in a newer building but it fits the character of... More

My wife and I ordered the lamb shank on the menu. It ws seved with a mixture of vegetables and whipped potatoes. It could not have been more delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. My only reservation is that the wine prices were a bit high (although beer is very reasonable). The only half bottle was a sweetend and... More

Came across this winery by accident. The restaurant was closed for a wedding so we did not get to see it or try the menu - maybe next time. The tasting room has an understated elegance and the service we received was great. If you like white wines on the sweeter side then this is the place for you! My... More

My girlfriends and I went to the restaurant to eat lunch last weekend and got a free tasting afterwards. This lovely woman with a beautiful accent served us for our tastings, and she was super knowledgeable of the wines and which ones were dryer or sweeter than the others. She provided a really nice experience for us and the tasting... More

I am a Cabernet Franc girl and Ravine's did not disappoint. Also loved the Heritage. Friendly and attentive staff, focused on an experience based on the client likes not what they want to sell you. Bought a baguette from the bakery for home, which was delicious! Before leaving, we went out on the patio for a wood-oven pizza. They have... More

I had hoped to try ice wine at Ravine, but they sold their last 24 bottles two weeks before I arrived. Pity, really, because their other wines are excellent. I particularly liked their oaked Sauvignon Blanc (French oak) and their cabernet franc, and their Meritage (Bordeaux-style) is good, too.

We've enjoyed this winery before. We never realized that they also had a bakery in the back. Brought home a bottle and a loaf of bread and a freshly made donut! Very low key and laid back. We need to visit the restaurant on out next visit.

There are 2 Tripadvisor sites, one for the Winery & another for the Ravine Vineyard Estate Restaurant. The winery has an excellent selection, with the Cab Franc being a favourite of our friends who joined us on this tour. A great location, with very friendly, helpful & knowledgeable staff. Can be a little pricey, but the quality may be there.
