This is a review of the back patio barbq i.e., not the restaurant or the tasting room Poor planning on our part meant we missed the lunch reservations window. We went there anyway and unfortunately everyone was just plain hangry! So we retired to the patio and ordered ribs sandwiches and beer. I know what about the wine!?? It was... More

The winery charge a fee of $5 for three wines tastes, not too bad compared to other wineries in the area. The wines were very well made and tasted great. Recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Went for wine country touring as we do every summer. Stopped here for a lunch with our adult kids. It was our second time here. Excellent service and delicious food. A must try if your looking for a place to stop in Niagara-On-The-Lake, Ontario

We decided to stop at Ravines for a wine tasting and early dinner. The restaurant is open for lunch as well as dinner from 5pm-close. We had a strong recommendation from a local friend and it exeeded our expectations. Make sure you reserve in advance to get a table on the terrace for the best views of the beautiful vineyard.... While the dining was great, the winery itself was simply OK. The tasting room was busy, so my wife and I were not able to talk with the servers much as we tasted to ask questions, etc. As only moderate wine enthusiasts (not experts, but enjoy trying new flavors), none of the wines really stood out as exceptional or different.... The tasting room is actually in an 1802 house that was burned by the Americans during the 1812-1814 American-British war. Picked up and moved several times, it's very beautiful. Kevin, the manager, we had met several years ago. Super person with an untold knowledge of wines. Oh, the wines are great too.

In the front they sell cheese, freshly prepared bread and local gourmet and kitchen items. In the back is where the tasting are. The room is beautiful and the staff is... More

First trip to Ravine Vineyard. Enjoyed a quick tasting and bought some nice reds Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for a later Canada day celebration and the Pizza is no longer on the menu.

What I liked the most about Ravine Winery was the buildings themselves. Housed in an old farm house it was a refreshing break from all of the large modern and castle like wineries that have gone up over recent years in the Niagara on the Lake area. The restaurant is in a newer building but it fits the character of... More

My wife and I ordered the lamb shank on the menu. It ws seved with a mixture of vegetables and whipped potatoes. It could not have been more delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. My only reservation is that the wine prices were a bit high (although beer is very reasonable). The only half bottle was a sweetend and... More
