Since around spring 2024, the adventure city arcades at Niagara Falls have switched to digital card payment system. So it no longer use tokens.

Each credit costs about 25 cents each. Each new card charge is $2, which is then reloaded back to the card as 8 credits The kiosk machine allows to reload any amount, like even $5 or less. So this place cheaper and more flexible than its rival across the street "Great Canadian Midway", as they require at least $10 per card reload.

I see most older arcade games (like racing or skeeball) costs 4 credits/$1 per play, the newer games cost 8 credits or more. Overall I think this arcade is better value than its more expensive "midway" rival across the street.

We are regulars to Niagara Falls traveling there every February for a short get-away. We always go to the arcade across the street and when we spent an extra day last year there we were looking for items to fill out time. We had 4 children with us, ages 5, 6, 6, 8. We went to the Marvel Arcade, and after a difficult start since hours were listed, eventually found them open. Then we had to wait for staff to arrive, and give prices since they also weren't listed. Once we got through all the initial gunk, we bought a package (I believe 15 dollars Canadian for each child). The adults didn't pay and they still allowed us in all of the activities other than the Spiderman ride, which was great. It is a total rip-off to just do the ride or just do one other thing but all together was a good deal for the amount of hours we spent there. They have a great huge ball zone where you shoot balls out of a machine at each other, with barracades and slides to get-away. Great fun for adults and kids. They have an obstacle course race (Warning-don't try it adults-we did and got bruised and battered trying to fit in the child-sized ropes/etc.!). They also have the Glow in the dark Hulk Mini golf. Standard mini golf but kids still enjoyed it given their age. Kids loved the spiderman ride and rode it about 10 times. Package allowed you to play unlimited for so many hours which was nice. Overall, worth the time and money. I would not say this had we not bought the package. I also liked that they had benches for adults everywhere. We sat and chatted comfortably some of the time while the kids were in the activities, and we still could keep them in our vision. We'll go again this year. Given that the arcade across the street charges 20 dollars for 70 tokens for the games when most good ones take 3-4 at a pop, and than an additional 5-7 dollars for the boring ghost ride, I'll take this anyday!

We have travelled to Niagara Falls plenty of times before and been to a place called Midway often, but didn't expect there to be another arcade called adventure city down the hill as well. It's reasonable in prices. place has bumper cars. That's why we came there in the first place, because my 12 year old daughter wanted to go. When we were confused on what this attraction provided, we asked this incredibly polite young gentleman at the cash (I suppose he was an asian man who had long hair, was very busy with the line-up) and when it was our turn to buy tickets, he was very patient to answer each and every one of our questions. definitely provided great customer service hands down, he was also very enjoyable around other children throughout the day and was one of the most nicest, friendliest people I have come across in a long while. The bumper cars attendant at the time was also very professional and we had a very good time with the ride. Then we finished the rounds with a bit of arcades, and the prizes seemed better than the one at Midway... this was during the Christmas rush and we're happy to go there once again. 4/5,

We went to the Marvel Complex.. just a poor and EXPENSIVE arcade. The kids wanted to go to the Spiderman Ride. Cost-$55+ for 4 tickets!!

Your supposed to ride around shooting stuff in this ride.. well at 1/2 mile/hour it was tooo slow.. lacked any effects.. and broke down 1/2 way thru. Then we were waiting.. and watching repair guys walking thru the ride.

We had to yell.. HEY.. WE ARE IN HERE.. START THE RIDE.. more then once.. then the ride fired up after about 3 minutes.

Total ride length about 2 minutes + 3 minutes yelling at the workers.

We complained.. and instantly got a full refund.. no questions.. didnt have to even ask for it (they know the ride is garbage).
The manager even gave us a free HULK mini golf... SUPER GARBAGE!!

The Golf was broken down.. and dirty.. and a BIG YAWN!
Even the kids said Golf was not worth it EVEN FOR FREE!!

Stay out of the Marvel Comic complex.. a TOTAL MONEY GRAB

Terrible. Name change took pace recently from when I went. The old and new places both reek of oil and the rides are horrid. Avoid unless your supremely bored and do not need money in your wallet. The rides are dated beyond thunderdome.

I visited Adventure City tonight for mini putting with a few of my friends. The price is very good considering the tourist area but maybe the price is so good to make up for the lack of everything else. After already having paid, there weren't enough clubs for us. There were no score cards and the attendant, Kelly B, said she did not have ANY scrap paper to give us so we could keep score. She saw that there wasn't enough clubs and did not offer anything. We saw some scrap pieces or paper lying around to which she said we could not have. I am a local and I work in the customer service industry, this would not be acceptable where I work. Pretty disappointed with her lack or care about her job.
