I would give this 3.5 stars if it were an option. While the plants are beautiful, they are mostly displayed in pots on tables and are not always labeled. The grounds had some interesting miniature house displays, which were kind of fun, but not really what we stopped in to see. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the grounds and building were both very clean and well kept, and the gift shop had a wide array of decent items to choose from. Tickets were also pretty cheap, making this well worth the stop--just don't get your hopes up for something that's going to knock your socks off. You're better off stopping at Niagara Botanical Gardens for that.

Family
When I visited Niagara Falls, my family decided to stop at this flower building. The flowers were beautiful! There was a good variety for it being winter. It is right at Niagara Falls, so the higher price does make sense for such a large tourist destination. My family all enjoyed it, and we took plenty of pictures!

I love these kind of places but this one was pretty tiny. It may only take 15min to do a loop. The grounds may be nice in the summer so you could stay longer, however we went in the winter. I did enjoy it but I'm not sure if its worth the price of parking and entrance.

We stopped here only because we had the Wonder Pass and it was on the list. Sorry, but it was a waste of time! It consisted of a high-ceilinged atrium area and two small greenhouses. In total, it took us only 10 minutes to walk through, and it felt like we were taking our time. We didn't explore outside since it was snowing, so we might have missed some things. There were very few flowers, although there was a Cyclomen display. Most of the plants were identified with small signs. We got dropped off by the bus and we were back on the next bus 30 minutes later. Wouldn't return, even in summer!

Came here with Niagara Falls Wonder Pass. Small collection of tropical plants indoors. The miniature village outside was pretty neat. Good way to spend an hour or less.

This was the only disappointing thing we did in Niagara. We were expecting more as all of the landscaping in Niagara is beautiful. This was fine but we have nicer botanical gardens around us. The miniature houses were very cute and fun to look at. We probably spent only about 30 minutes here.

We went to see their famous poinsettia show. It did not disappoint. It was just beautiful. We also loved the lights they put up on the grounds. It was a beautiful display and worth the minor entrance fee. We just love going there.

I did a socially distanced Christmas arrangement workshop and also got to check out the two greenhouses and outside which had the mini village. A bit small for the admission price but its cute and worth checking out. At Christmas it would be great to see it at night. Lots of parking outside. Easy walk to the Falls.

There is now a $5 admission charge for this place plus your parking fee. It used to be free.

My first visit to the Niagara Greenhouse behind the falls came in winter 2006.

The greenhouse itself it not very large but we thoroughly enjoyed viewing the various flowers and plants and were also treated to birds of different colours flying over our heads. There is also a little waterfall/pond in the greenhouse with a relaxing effect.

We spent upwards of an hour or more being enchanted by this "winter" wonderland.

I'm sure the greenhouse is just as lovely in the summer but it was an extra special treat in February. Normally this time of year in Canada is when lush summer foliage has turned into sticks and snow.

I'm looking forward to seeing what the Parks Commission does for the Christmas season!
