On our trip to Niagara Falls, we booked a five tour with Magnificent Tours at the Marriott Fallsview Hotel tour desk. We were assigned John Mckinnon as our tour guide and Robbie was our driver. Our 20 passenger bus was immaculate. From the moment we met John we knew it would be a wonderful day! He had a cooler of refreshments for us. We sat in the front of the bus. He was very knowledgeable about Canadian culture and history and answered any questions we had. Also..he had many shopping and restaurant tips for us! Our tour included the Hornblower on the Falls,Journey behind the Falls, visited Niagara Lake, Inniskillia Winery and The Whirlpool Rapids Observation Deck. The five hours went by quickly. Highly recommend this tour and most definitely John McKinnon!

My husband and I took a five hour tour. We went behind the falls, took the boat into the horseshoe of the Canadian falls. Went to a winery for a wine tasting ; visited the floral clock, the whirlpool and a drive through the town of Niagara Lake. John McKinnon, our guide wad very personable and informative. He was born and raised in Niagara Falls and had a lot of helpful information on other attractions and restaurants to visit time permitting

We had such a great time! John McKinnon has to be the best tourist guide on Earth. He kept us entertained, and shared the most amazing stories with us. My 9 year old learned so much and didn’t even realize it!

The falls are out of this world. The activities and schedule are carefully chosen to keep you out of long lines, under the sun, etc. Just perfect.

John McKinnon was a great tour guide. Upbeat and fun! My husband and I took an impromptu trip to the Falls for our 33rd wedding anniversary. We would never have been able to see/do/experience all that we did in a day on our own. Journey Behind the Falls. Boat ride near the Falls. Whirlpool. Inniskillin wine tasting. Visit to Niagara-on-the-Lake country store. Butterfly Conservatory. Thank you, John, for sharing your knowledge and the history of the Falls. Highly recommend this tour!

This tour is well worth the money. It took us to Journey Behind the Falls, Skylon and Hornblower cruise. No waiting in lines! Sean was excellent driver and guide. Every stop went very smoothly. This is the way to see the highlights of Niagara Falls.

Thank you for writing a review! I am happy to hear you enjoyed our Niagara's Best Tour which highlights the top three attractions in Niagara Falls. Line-ups are not fun which is why we have made sure our guests never have to wait at the attractions. I will share your complimentary comments with Sean. :)

Tour was nice but over priced. You can do all of these attractions on your own for less. The tour guide Tony was exceptional, very informative and super friendly.

Thank you for your feedback! You are correct you can do the attractions on your own for less money. A guided tour isn't for everyone. What we offer with our guided tours is comfortable transportation (air conditioned bus), a knowledgeable /fun guide (great way to learn the history of Niagara and fun facts), worry free sightseeing (you don't need to worry about parking fees or directions) and the best part is the VIP access to the attractions which is an amazing perk when there are 2 hours lineups for the Hornblower Boat cruise and Journey Behind the Falls.

My girlfriend and I went on the Wine and Chocolate tour on Valentine's Day. Our tour guide was Sean and he was awesome! Not only was he knowledgeable about the area as we drove to the different wineries but his super outgoing and fun personality made the day a fun outing and he had the whole bus laughing. There was 6 couples on our tour and Sean's ability to engage the whole bus with fun and entertaining stories had us all getting to know each other well by the end of the day which made it a very personable and fun experience. There was 6 wineries on our intinerary and Sean managed to take us on not 6 but 10 wineries! This was both out first time going on a wine tour and we are definitely interested in going on another soon! (As long as our tour guide is Sean) Great service and a great experience. Thanks Sean for an awesome day!

Well worth the money and the time. As with most tours, it is on a time frame. You will see some reviews complaining about the time or being rushed; but knowing that ahead of time it didn't bother me one bit. With the tour you don't have a long wait, as we were told we would have if doing it on our own. Our tour guide, Tony Hagar, was excellent. He has a wonderful attitude, demeanor and a good sense of humor. He was very informative along the way. He also was willing to take the time to answer questions about the area, and referring us some great local restaurants. A suggestion would be to be on the Canadian side. The pictures are from my room, Niagara Fallview Marriott. I would also recommend wearing shorts and sandals on the boat. My blue jeans were soaked from the knees down.

We booked a tour with this company before arriving in Niagara Falls, Canada. Having never been to the area, I thought a guided tour would be nice. It was $144/pp to do Behind the Falls, Whitewater Walk, Hornblower cruise and Niagara's Fury (4-D movie). The morning of our tour, after not hearing from anyone confirming pick up at our bed and breakfast, we called the local number at 10:30 a.m. to inquire about what was going on, where to go, etc. We spoke with a very rude woman who informed us that the tour started at 10 a.m. - not 10:30 a.m. as everything listed (including our electronic tickets). She stated the tour had already begun and that we would have to get a taxi to take us to the first location, but it was doubtful that we would be able to enjoy that stop on the tour because they were already 30 mins. underway. They did refund my money that was paid through PayPal. Just FYI - you can go to the big Welcome Center right at the Falls and purchase a pass for around $60 (Canadian) that includes all 4 stops on this tour, as well as 2 days free access to the We Go Bus that runs up and down the strip. I paid $144 to do the exact same things! What a rip-off!!! They claim in this advertisement that you have access to VIP entrance with no waiting in line. There is no VIP entrance at any of these attractions!! I asked the employees at each one of the attractions to confirm this fact. Trust me - save yourself some money and buy the pass to do the same things for less than half!

I will be staying in Toronto next month, and wanted just a wineries tour of Niagara on the Lake, without Niagara Falls. I searched the info for this operator as they have a tour on the day I can go to Niagara on the Lake but it only stated that pick up from hotel is available.
I found their website (Magnificent Niagara Falls Tours), but it didn't say anything other than what's in the Tripadvisor webpage. So, I emailed them via their "Contact Us" link. No reply.
I finally decided to book the tour anyway, and saw that the list of hotels for pick up and drop off are all in Niagara Falls. So, I went back to their webpage and emailed them via the same link. This time, I received an email reply indicating that the company is not licensed to pick up or drop off in Toronto. Fortunately, I could cancel with full refund as it was via Tripadvisor.
Seriously, it would save people a lot of trouble if the fact, that this company ONLY picks up and drops off for Niagara Falls hotels, is clearly stated on the information on Tripadvisor.
And to the tour operator, put that information on your website as well. And respond when people email you via your "Contact Us" link, regardless of whether people have or have not purchased tours. Why have the link if you aren't going to respond to queries?
I have used such links before on other tour websites, and have had responses to my inquiries regardless of the fact that I haven't purchased a tour yet.
Really good service starts even before a tour is purchased.
