This was so much fun. My boys, ages 13 and 10, really enjoyed the jet ride. We were drenched as if we had been swimming. We all would definitely do this again. The staff was amazing. Bring a change of clothes. :)

The best location for you would be the Niagara Falls location. It’s probably about a 15 minute drive from your hotel.....maybe longer as traffic along the parkway is usually slower with people slowing down to take in the... More

They have many sizes( child to adult XXL). I would think everyone can find one that fits. No one had an issue on our trip with the sizes.

Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours with a 6 year old.... (3 Replies)
We are planning on stopping in NOTL on our way to the Falls with our 6 and 14 year old sons. I know my 14 year old will love the Whirlpool Jet Boat, but will it be OK for my 6 year old too?

It is an amazing ride, you do get lots of water thrown on you so if your son if okay with holding his breath then it will be okay if they allow kids that young. If you sit in the back of the boat it is not as intense as the front and will be better suited for younger children. In the front you get a wall of water put right on top of you, it only lasts a few seconds but can be nerve recking for a young´n.

Niagara Glen v. White Water Walk (3 Replies)
Coming over the summer for a first visit to NF with my family for six days. Trying to plan out an agenda and wondered if hiking down to the river at Niagara Glen Nature Reserve is similar to White Water Walk. I don't mind doing both but I just wondered if they are sort of the same experience. Also thinking of surprising my kids on their 10th birthday with a Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours! Any advice/feedback would be greatly appreciated.

White Water Walk is an elevator ride down to the river level, and then a boardwalk along the edge of the rapids. If it's busy, the wait for an elevator can be a while The Glen is a nature area with paths and some man made steps and stairs down the side of the gorge, with several marked trails. You can get very close to the rapids in some spots, or even dip your feet in the water at a tranquil cove in another place. Kids love it and a big bonus is it's absolutely free. I much prefer the...More
