Had a teenager visiting so we did Niagara, including Nightmares. Not bad but I think it would be more scary if you go through in smaller groups. We were 5 people so easier to feel confident together. Very dark, lots of loud bangs and occasional touchy-feely surprises. Better than ones that just gross you out to scare you. Takes only... More

Overall a fun experience with our teenage sons If you like the idea of inching forward, huddled together in complete darkness, being scared out of your wits, then this is the place for you! There were a few surprises that kept us on our toes... Tip: you can purchase your tickets for about $10 less for a family pack on... More

My husband went through with our 14 yr old daughter and her friend. It's kind of a walk to get there as there isn't much else around it. The wait wasn't too long and there are nice benches across the street to wait on. They all had a fun time.

It wasn't scary at all to me. Just complete darkness. You do follow red LEDs to navigate through the twisted mazes. It's funny when you take teens. For the most part they will be what entertains you. I only recommend this if you are easily frightened or are with others that are easily frightened. I suggest you don't try to... More

It was ok but nothing special, more hype then anything. We did not end up purchasing our photos after the maze cause we did not even have a startled look on our faces at the 2 spots it takes pictures.

Better ones down the road. Not even average. I thought it expensive. Nowhere near as good as advertised.

Go with a group. If you have people that are easily frightened, they should probably pass. I hope you've seen the photos on the internet; it is such a cool attraction and a little bit away from the hustle of Clifton Hill.

Although I did not enter the nightmares fear factory, my daughter and 2 teens did. It was exactly as advertised..fear! The teens ended up yelling NIGHTMARES to be led out. So if you venture in, be prepared.

A wonderful treat, the people that run this place have got it to a fine art. Its dark and you do not know what is around the corner. You will laugh when you look at the pictures that are taken.
