Unfortunately, I was left very disappointed with the service I received at the Square One MidiCi location. I was excited to try pizza here for the first time, and looking forward to a nice experience. Once my boyfriend and I arrived we were promptly seated by the hostess.
Yet, we were not informed of the name of our server, or anything of the like.
We were left sitting and waiting for almost 15 minutes, before a server came to ask if we knew what we wanted to order! Thinking she would ask us what we’d like, we told her yes. However, she then responded she was going to be taking out menus, but would be back to take our orders???
10 more minutes then past, and she does not appear! A couple who arrived after us, also received service before us? So we left hungry, and upset. I have worked in the service industry for many years, and found this to be VERY disappointing. Highly doubt we will be returning!

One of the reasons I live in the Square One area is because I love shopping at Ontario's largest mall which, for me, has everything.
I was happy therefore to return yesterday after it recently opened for Mississauga's stage 2 of the pandemic reopening, but was really dismayed to find many people were still walking about without masks even though they are supposed to be mandatory indoors!
I asked a group of security guards about this lapse, and they weakly replied they do try to educate people - but that time is long over and it is now under city By-law mandatory for public health safety!
While I too want to get out after this lock down, there is no level of shopping, browsing, or eating out that merits risking my health/life for in a place that won't take enforcing the wearing of masks seriously, when they strictly did so earlier in the pandemic restricting entry to one entrance and making sure EVERY person entering the mall was in compliance.
I love my mall, but won't be back until Square One takes the safety of patrons helping businesses in our restart seriously, or this pandemic is over...I can wait.

Love this mall. A one stop shop for everything you may desire with a countless variety of food options to choose from. Everytime I pass through Mississauga on business I make certain to find time to visit this mall. Never disappoints!!!

This is my favourite mall in Ontario. It’s massive, clean, and well organized. There’s a large variety of stores and a nice food court. It’s quite easy to plan on spending a full day here if you enjoy shopping. The newly added Food District has many great options for foodies craving a fresh meal or tasty dessert.

The elevator is broken since just before christmas near the wall mart parking over 20 days and not fixed.
Also a health problem in the main floor washroom near the walkway to go to Walmart parking area .
The air dryer gives out foul Oder (stinky) Very bad.

We were stuck in Toronto due to poor weather and needed something to do. We asked a staff member at our hotel about the best local mall to visit to kill some time. Square One was excellent, particularly the food options.

Very safe mall with many good shops to spend time and money in!! The food selection is good with something for everyone. Great security so you feel safe while here. Excellent parking options. This is a place to spend an afternoon and have fun window shopping and people watching!!

Positive surprise on the way from Niagara Falls to Huntsville in Mississauga. Nice outlet with a good selection of 'middle premium' brands. What was particularly positive was the good selection of snack restaurants on the first floor. Nice Walmart on two levels and good offers (including branded goods).

Square one is a great go to shopping mall. It has virtually everything. Lots of parking and worth visiting if you are a tourist. Lots of restaurants and places to look at. Would recommend. Its still a mall and mississauga isa dank place. There is no spul in this city and no real town square. ( the mall os the centere of town)

Large clean mall with lots of parking. Has a holt Renfrew, Simon's and Walmart. Whole foods nearby and Crate and Barrel. Large food court in basement and several restaurants

Where can I get a smoke meat sandwich in square one?

There are a number of restaurants in the food court but not sure which one has the smoked meat. Try Zomato website and they will be able to give you restaurants and ratings of restaurants anywhere in the world. I tried it and they are a very good site.

What is the easiest/ best way to get from the airport to Mississauga and is there nice restaurants etc to eat in at night nearby square one ?

There is public transit, uber and the regular taxi to get there.
Both in the mall and outside there are nice restaurants. There is a Jamie Oliver restaurant in the mall.. Canyon Creek and Richtree outside the mall within walking distance.

There is a Novotel Hotel which is walking distance from the Mall. However do note that the main attractions of Toronto are downtown which is over 50 kilometres away. Square One is in Mississauga which is in between downtown and Niagara Falls. Niagara Falls is about two hours away from Square One.

Take Uber instead of a Taxi ... It's half the price and much better service. Uber will cost about $35.00, a taxi will cost you close to $70. (You need to download the application on your cell phone).
