Very Helpful

The wi-fi at the place where my son and I were staying was horrible so we walked over so he could use the library connection to do his schoolwork. Appreciate that this was available to visitors and as well as residents.

The Canadiana room was so very helpful with researching members of my family tree. I could not have done it without them!

Great resource in community. Gathering spot for different groups. Free computer access and WiFi. Lots of corners to tuck away. Volunteer opportunities available for youth and adults. Well staffed front desk. Great self check out options too. Did not care for solicitations at entrance. Convenient Small eatery at entrance.

Resourceful library
May 2019
A great place of knowledge for all ages. It has children's section at the basement filled with bright eye-catching decorations which they frequently change. Various cozy places to read with your little one. Computers for kids to use and also a little play area for them. They also have story-telling sessions in different language. You can also call to hear a story on phone in various languages. Upper levels are organized with books and learning materials for adults. You could find probably almost any book.

Great Evening
Oct 2019 • Family
Yesterday we attended a Quintinerra party for our friends daughter. What a great afternoon and evening. The hall was spacious and beautifully decorated the food was excellent as was the service. The servers and bartenders all seemed extremely friendly and it was a personal touch to this event. All there had a great time, the hall had a huge part to do with it being such a fantastic celebration.

Activities, Study and Research
Aug 2019
There are many things to do at the Mississauga Central Library. Often I see people gathering in the main hall (chess players for example). There are often meetings in the rooms (Toastmasters clubs for example). Recently the staff helped me gather books from various shelves on a specific topic. They were very helpful.

Excellent place for quiet time
Jun 2019 • Solo
I visited this place to do some work and needed some quiet time and this was the perfect place for it. There’s free wifi and plenty of quiet spaces available for your work. Also has a wide range of books and other resources available for your use free of charge.

It’s a very well maintained facility very close to square one.

A brief pass through, but a memorable and nice experience (as a retired library employee from elsewhere)
Jul 2019
Stepping in a library, anywhere, has such a powerfully positive and almost indescribable feel to it. I travel a bit more now, that I am retired, and make a point of visiting as many libraries (and any independent bookshops) as I possibly can fit into my itinerary. So glad I did!
