Enjoyable experience for all in our group which was a mix of experienced and not-so-experienced kayakers. Kayaks here were much more comfortable than other rentals we’ve tried at other places in the past because these had supportive adjustable back rests. Excellent customer service here. Excellent location here because afterward you can stroll up and down the street to window shop, or grab an ice cream or great meal, or, you can rest and picnic at the park right there.

This is a nice place to visit. It is located besides Lake Ontario. Port Credit is just a few kilometres from the hustle and bustle of Mississauga but offers tranquility with opportunities to jet ski and to indulge in other marine sports including boat rides. The Main Street has many restaurants and shops for visitors.

We like walking here either in the main parking area besides the lake (where there is a short walking route besides the lake) or in one of the nearby parks.

Great place to relax.

Port Credit Marina Sunrise
Beautiful boats here, swans swimming over over the place and sunrise shot are great from here. You can see Toronto and photograph the marina. If you're hungry you can grab a bite from Snug Harbour - one the the loveliest restaurants anywhere

Port Credit area has 2 water fronts. The port section has the light house on the road and walkway on the shoreline. This also has the Snug Harbour restaurant. But there is a challenge with parking as there's only pay parking on the road.
The other one is the J.C. Saddington park is a nice park with plethora of grass areas, seating benches, lake shore and rocky areasto seat and enjoy the views. Also it has 2 large parking areas. Very good view of the sunrise behind the solitary ship on the lake. It is really nice to have a walk during morning or evening.

The views are great and the park is well laid out.
There is a waterfront path which offers great views of marina and water and has a few restaurants with great water views. There were a few paddle boarders and small oats.
The light house was quaint as well.

Parking enforcement in Port Credit is unreasonable. I parked, walked a few car lengths to buy a parking receipt from a machine, and the parking enforcement officer was already at my car writing the ticket. When I called out that I was just buying the ticket, the response was "you should have said something sooner"!

If you must go, insist that someone sit behind the wheel of your car while you walk to put money in the machine. Apparently you can't be issued a ticket so long as someone is at the wheel.

Better yet, do yourself a favor - go a few miles west to Oakville. It is a much nicer area; better stores and higher quality restaurants; the parking people don't lunge out of nowhere to issue tickets unreasonably. Now I understand why Mississauga claims to not have to raise local taxes - they must make a fortune from innocent visitors trying to park.

Port Credit is Mississauga's lakeshore portion. It is quaint, there are a few historic buildings and a lighthouse on Lakeshore Blvd. I'd prefer Toronto's Harbourfront area much more than Port Credit (in terms of things to do in the area), but Port Credit is very clean and peaceful, it is perfect for a leisurely stroll.

Another thing you can do in Port Credit is to go kayaking or rowboating on the Credit River. That experience is quite fantastic.

Lived in Central Port Credit for just over a year and I must say the neighborhood is an eclectic mix of the artsy cafe and the high end restaurant. The location on the waterfront is fantastic in the summer and makes for a good walk or bike on the long beautiful pathways.
Great but expensive place to live and a good place to spend an afternoon.

Crowded, overpriced, almost no where to park. Cyclists are constantly running you down on the sidewalks. All the shops have pretty much the same stuff you can find in any neighbourhood but at Yorkville prices. The music on the weekends is lame beyond compare and only attracts tens of people. Parking is expensive and enforcement is brutal. Stay away from the skateboard area at the north end of Memorial park if you have children.
