My village in the city of Mississauga

Of course I'd give it a great rating as I have loved living here for 44 years. Friendly people, great shops, and restaurants, although we do need a grocery store.

Dubbed " the village in the city " Streetsville offers a great downtown core of shops, restaurants & salons. It's appeal is in its historical 19th century Queen Street - buildings that date back to the 1820s - walkable charm There is always something happening at the village square at Queen & Main Recently watched "the Hip" on the big... Streetsville is worth a visit. If you follow Mississauga Road North from Dundas. St. you will drive reach Streetsville. Lovely tea house on the main street, you need reservations. Century old house. Worth a trip. Nice stores and restaurants . Easy access from the Go station in Streetsville if you don't drive.

Cute little street with some of the more elegant homes in Mississauga hidden off the main strip. A must visit during the bread and honey festival.

Need a spa? There are a lot a choose from in Streetsville (Body and Soul is my favourite). Need a unique gift for someone? Head to Streetsville. Crafted Decor has unique items, The Shop for All Reasons has chocolates that will wow the hardest to please chocolate connoisseur. Need some fun? Streetsville has that too - festivals, parades, special events... More

The square always have some sort of entertainment going. Good restaurants, pubs, cafes and a ice cream parlour. You can walk by and have a peeking on the stores as well.

Going to Streetsville is like going back in time. Main street Streetsville still has the small homes that have been turn in restaurants and cafes. They still hold their Bread and Honey Festival at the beginning of June.

A delightful quaint little village within a metropolis! Just park your car and take a stroll on the main street, the main boulevard has a very famous ice cream parlor - nothing striking about the ice cream really but the overall look and feel of the place is very rural english! Sip beer at a bar on the far end... More

Great shops but getting a little too busy. Sign of the times I guess. Good festivals during the year. I guess it is the millennials times.

Great restaurants, great small town feeling. Perfect place to live or visit. Closed off square adds to that feeling. Lots of summer events.
