Spacious layout and parking available
Nov 2020
Great park on it's own, but even more attractive is the pathways along the Credit river. You can walk along the river and I did so up to Highway 403, where the road noise is not appealing.

Excellent Park But Avoid on Weekends
Aug 2020
This is a huge and popular park which is near the University of Toronto Mississauga. We were here during the weekend and despite COVID there were huge crowds picnicking at the park.
Public parking is available from Dundas Street at the south end of the park and from Burnhamthorpe Road West at the north end of the park which is advantageous if you want to picnic or do some fishing. However totally avoid the park during weekends and holidays if you want decent parking. The park also has a huge picnic area and some even have barbecue pits in them too if in case you want to do your barbecue while having a picnic in the park.
There is the bridge that connects Erindale Park to the University of Toronto campus. This pedestrian bridge beside the Dundas Street parking lot allows for viewing directly over the river.

Great park for walking, running, bicycling, picnics
Mar 2020
This park is centerally located in Mississauga. Excellent trails along the river in lot of sections. Very well maintained, it seems that some areas of the trail have been damaged in winter but I am sure it will be fixed soon. Washrooms and picinc areas are well maintained.

busy but amazing
Jun 2019
in the middle of the city, you can find this amazing place. I started going there when my daughter was 2, right now she is 32, still one of my favourite places to go for a walk or a bike ride. beautiful scenery, river and path which leads you to the great spots and views. Very busy during summertime, but great place for a walk or a bike ride. After 30 years it is still my favourite place in Mississauga.

Nice Park with Good Facilities
Sep 2019
I do visit this park regularly. I am glad to see that last summer the permanent toilets were ready and being used. I see occasionally people going there to fish in the river. It is indeed a nice place to go out for walks, fishing, barbecuing in a group or just to sit and enjoy nature. There are several group seating with a shelter you can reserve for a group. Even in winter when the weather is mild, I go sometimes there for walking. there is no charge for entry.

Excellent spot for family/bbqs/fishing
Jun 2019 • Solo
I have been to a few bbq parties here with family and friends. It has a lot of room for kids to play and run around. It does tend to get a little busier in peak summer season so you have to book a place well in advance for bigger parties.

Credit river runs thru this park and it’s an excellent t spot for wading and catching salmon in fall. Overall it’s a great outdoors spot to visit within the city limits.

PACKED & TRASHY
Jun 2019 • Solo
I had been to Erindale a few times in late fall as well as spring and winter but this past June was the first time I went during the summer (bass opener) and it was not enjoyable in the least, until I got to the river that is.

First, it was near impossible to find parking in any of the lots. Once out of your car, there are a lot of careless drivers and humans alike. Walking through the park to get to the river was enraging and depressing: it was evident that a lot of park-goers are careless, trashy human beings. There was trash and debris everywhere. Whole BBQ sites surrounded by trash left behind.

The park itself is great, it's the people that make it terrible. I'm insanely grateful to have moved north.

Great park but step it up!!
Jun 2019 • Family
Area and location are great. They have built in complete washrooms now which is great.

This is the first time we’ve gone and the grass is extremely long and buried under the dry grass left from the last time it was cut.

Washrooms - can you have someone clean them a few times throughout the day?

Parking is ridiculous. Several cars parked in a way that took up 2 spots. Perhaps if there were parking lines that wouldn’t happen. And the park attendants decided to call and ticket people parked alongside the road. Parking in front of the gate - you deserve a ticket. Blocking the path - you deserve a ticket. Those just trying to enjoy the day did not!

Come on ‘sauga. Step it up!!!

Who knew that this gem existed?
May 2019 • Family
I was looking for local fly fishing opportunities and I kept seeing the lower Credit River section in Erindale Park and figured I would check it out, as it is only a 30 minute drive from where I live (in Toronto).

I was shocked to discover that this park even existed!

The river is beautiful and varies in terms of width and depth, and is bordered by beautiful scenery. The park is vast, and I returned the next day and did a 9KM hike with my kids, and squeezed in some fishing along the route.

Nice big park
Sep 2018 • Family
This is a nice big park that caters to all ages and with ample parking. We had fun having a picnic with my friends and family. The kids had so much fun at the playground and the water features, will go back again.
