This is a very nice park with a great splash pad and playground area. it has a well maintained beach and lots of nice viewing areas of the whole TOronto city line. THE ONLY suggestion I strongly would make is to get here by 10am because their parking lot is limited and you will have to park on a side... More

Loved the nice cushy playground and the nice shallow entry beach. Good for toddlers and grown ups. Nice view of th city and water quality is tested. No lifeguards. Nice gentle waves great for kids learning to surf:)

I run through this park several times each week. This is a well designed waterfront destination park that attracts visitors from a wide area. It has an excellent pedestrian/cyclist trail that leads to attractive sandy beaches; also picnic tables and a splash pad for young children. Mature trees provide shade. It is often crowded on summer weekends and the two... More

Great place to get in touch with nature. The lake laps the south side of this park. Swans and other waterfowl are always present close to the shore. Easy access to small beaches. Park is emaculately maintained. Please keep it that way. Permanent BBQ grills are available. Please use judiciously and dispose of embers properly. Pets welcome on a leash.... More

This park area is very big. It is great for picnics, biking, hiking, bird watching (rattray marsh), but there are a few drawbacks that make spending the whole day there not as good as it was 10 years ago. The washrooms are not cared for well, and the splash pad area for the kids was recently very dirty with paper... More

My sister had a bbq/birthday party there few years ago in summer. And we liked it there. But not too nice for swimming. You can bike or skates though...walking and jogging is a given.

I love this place. We now visit every weekend during the summer, My 13 year young daughter enjoys swimming with our dog. Then the dog thoroughly enjoys the leash-free park area--what an amazing space. I enjoy the fact that they are both exhausted by the end of the day and fall asleep! : )

Lovely stroll by the lake any time of the year. Can walk over to Rattray Marsh for a longer walk. A beach but swimming is limited. Check water quality before entering the water.

On a clear day the view of the Downtown Toronto Area from the waterfront is spectacular. Good dog walking facilities and leash-free area too. Impressive hidden water treatment plant. Also a lovely spot for a family picnic.
