Best Lakeside park in Mississauga

Barbecue, picnic, hot dog and ice cream, blue lake, swimming and beautiful views. Splash pad for little ones and lovely trails. Parkings not enough, especially on weekend.

Great place for walks and enjoy the lake shore and have a glimpse of Toronto skyline and CN Tower. I had family visiting from India and ended up going to the park. From the entrance did not know that it would turn out to be a nice park when we went further inside by the lake, It was fantastic! I... More

Great place for long walks. The trails are long and very good for a long walk. I went there on a picnic with some friends, we spent the morning and part of the afternoon there. Met some nice people around, a lot of people had some nice friendly pets. Nice place would definitely go again. Woukd avoid weekends though gets... More

I had family visiting from UK and we all ended up at this Park. The view of Downtown Toronto and skyline is absolutely fantastic. They thoroughly enjoyed as we did and I would recommend this Park to everyone. It is MUST VISIT!!

Worth the drive to take your pet for some fun- there's plenty of space to explore in and around the water treatment plant. There are many levels and open spaces so you can keep to yourself or let your dog play with the others. No need to bring your own bowl as there's a water stop with several bowls ;)

I was pleasantly surprised how they turned the water treatment plant property into a dog park. Gravel paths with some wood chip areas and also narrow, secret dirt paths through the woods. Fun to explore for both pooch and people. There were shaded areas but the picnic benches were in full sun. Bring your own water and dish.

Jack Darling is a beautiful park that offers a great place to go with your family, on your bike or with you dog. It is always beautiful and naturally maintained. My wife, our dogs and I love to go.

There is a large fenced in leash free park for the dogs. Some sections of the park is divided into different parts that you can take your dog to which will eventually lead you all throughout the dog park area. Water is available, great walking trail - a great place to take your dog to where they can release that... More

Some people bring their bikes to ride along the paved paths. Others rollerblade. Many have picnics in this Lakeside Park with a pebbly beach. Bring some lawn chairs. Very busy on the weekends. Parking can be a challenge. On the West side of Jack Darling Park, the walking path connects to the adjacent Rattray Marsh, a wilder, nature hike. The... More
