three floors of hands-on fun; don't miss the new Arctic section!; very good for kids (esp 8 and under)

Yes, it's a tad dated and yes it's in need of some updates, but this attraction is a fun and interactive way to learn. Our family was good with a half-day (younger kids). Enjoy... read more

Wonderful staff coping with an aging facility that needs serious TLC. We had kids ranging from 2 to 7 and they were only borderline engaged. Only few exhibits are interactive. We managed to spend a few hours all the same but only because it was cold and nothing better outdoors. They don't have a good court so come prepared if... More

First, ignore reviews that this place is 'run down'. We drove several hours from Michigan to go, and it was more than worth it! (I looked for things 'less than perfect' which included: a crane that didn't work, a little chipped paint, and few missing stove knobs. That's it.) First of all there are three LARGE floors of things to... More

Enjoy lots of daily events with the enthusiastic staff. Pros: + Dinosaurs exhibit: dress up like a dinosaur! "dig" for fossils! explore a dino cave! + My... More

This is a great place to take your little people to learn while having fun. There are many interactive displays that children can interact with.

Kids had lots of fun while price was very reasonable. Hasn't changed much in layout in 25+ though still fun. Suppose it could get a bit stale with regular visits but great if you're passing through town as we were.

We had a great little visit going to this museum. We got there about 3pm when all the school groups were gone and had the place to ourselves for a couple of hours, on a Friday! All kinds of things for our kids to do (ages 6 & 9) and it was a lot of fun. Great value too. A... More

Went here with a friend and her kids. I was very impressed with the amount of activities available for the kids to enjoy. Very educational and entertaining.

There are always new exhibits for children to enjoy and learn. Archaeology to history of many countries to space, your child can learn it here. My son loves going here defiantly will make another trip soon.

Perfect place for very young ones who can run around and enjoy themselves. Anybody over 5 will be bored in minutes there is not enough to see or do.
