This is the Cathedral Basilica of Christ the King.

The church is beige.

The cross is at the highest!

There are parking.

They have a lot of trees and flowers. It is nice to walk here!

A must see!

Recent Construction has removed some of the original stone work but it has to happen (Have you seen the Coliseum recently in Rome). Awesome feeling to walk into Cathedrals like this to see the architecture, the pointed arches, the buttresses, the stained glass and how it is all supported. Some views are skewed but TV's have been installed to help.

The tower of the Basilica can be seen a long way from the highway. It's architecture is pretty cool for a church that is not in Europe! Beautiful stained glass windows, impressive design elements inside and outside. It's a special place for me because our high school had the graduation ceremonies here many years ago! Lovey church.

We stopped here on our way back from the RBG just to see what this was. It was a nice cathedral with nice stain glass although it doesn't compare to what we have seen in Europe. The exterior is being worked on so the scaffolding did detract from the photos. But still a beautiful church.

We always go to Cathedral Christ the king for new years eve mass. Love this church for its beauty and a feeling of peace. It reminds me of the beautiful basilicas we saw in Italy.

We arrived there 35 minutes ahead of the commencement, but the place was packed with proud parents & grandparents. We should have realized that by the amount of vehicles in the parking lot. Consequently, we had to be seated nearer to the back of the church. There were several schools that were taking part in the confirmations and the Bishop was leading the proceedings.

I'm not sure what the capacity is, but it's huge. Each pillar in the church had a flat screen TV, allowing us to get a better view.

The whole evening lasted approx. 1 1/2 hours, followed by the children's pictures with the Bishop and/or family.
