I love visiting Gage Park. Whether on my bike or walking it is a lovely place to visit to "stop and smell the roses". Always cooler on a hot day and warmer on a cool day than the surrounding city. One of my favourite places...More

I always enjoy walking around Gage park to look at the trees and flowers. Parking is available on nearby streets for a few hours. If I were a kid, I’d be nuts about the playground and splash pad!

A lovely place to go jogging, have a picnic, play, or just relax - highly recommended on a sunny afternoon, to sit beneath some big shady trees and read a good book.

We went for a festival held at the park but there is lots more to this park than festivals. Lovely mature trees are beautiful to view and provide plenty of shade for picnics or walking under on hot days. Paved trails are good for walking...More

Gage Park is a public park and I know of no reason why you can't BBQ. You just need to bring your own BBQ and supplies. There are picnic tables in some areas and free parking off Lawrence Road (by the escarpment).
