We found this quite difficult to find so make sure you put just levigiani only into the satnav. Our guide was as helpful as she could be handling two lingual tours (English and Italian) but the lack of a dedicated English speaking tour was an issue. The cave itself is impressive but not anything that you wouldn't see in other... More

We have purchased the tickets from the village of Levigniano also we catches the bus that took us to the cave (a 10min ride) . The bus ride was included in the ticket price (15 euro for an adult and euro for a child). I had one of the best caving experience I have ever had. Danilo our guide he... More

In the quiet season there may be no tours if you are alone. Unfortunately I discovered that when I was there after a one hour drive one way. Why not mention that on the site? Call for exact times because their site gives you different time schedules. When I was at their office there was scheduled a different time for... More

Took my daughter for an afternoon tour of the Antro del Corchia cave in the mountains above Forte dei Marmi, really enjoyed it. It's a 2 km walk inside a mountain! The tour is only a very small part of the vast cave system inside these mountains, apparently. The path takes you up and down steps inside the carsic cave... More

I was excited to take my family into the Antro del Corchia caves where, until the 1970s, miners chipped away at the stone inside and where liquid mercury shone in droplets on the wall. The 45-minute guided tour was conducted entirely in Italian and there was no English translated guide or audio tape to listen to, however, which meant that... More

Good afternoon, I am sorry for the misunderstanding and I am sorry that you did not enjoy the visit. We have English guided visits, in summer quite all the tours are both Italian and English, may be in that day we had some unexpected events. Reading your opinion I understand that you visited Quicksilver Mines, so if have the possibility... More

Not that easy to find but for sure worth the visit. Guided tour in a small group, beautiful lid caves with paths and a zillion stairs. We liked it, kids enjoyed it.

These caves are truly a marvel! The drive up the mountain road to Levigliani is beautiful. You then need to walk up to the church in this one road town to buy tickets for the tours, which are at set times of the day. The bus takes you further up the mountain to the start of the guided tour. Our... More
