The path itself stretches around the western shore of Lake Ontario, but in Burlington you have access to downtown, Spencer Smith park, and the beach. It's a great walk no matter the time of year. My boyfriend and I walk it all the time. It is relatively flat and most parts are accessible to everyone.

A must if you're in the Toronto area! Great for walking or biking. Nice views and things to do like a small r/c boat pond, playground, beach area, peer. Easy to find great dining.

Very nice place to relax and spend a few hours walking around. The views of the lake are amazing and lots of activity. The are a couple of monuments and tributes to veterans with some interesting reads about the wars.

Plenty of restaurants, cafes and places to get a cool treat. The view alone is worth the visit! A great stroll no matter what the season.

This wide paved trail meanders through Burlington along Lake Ontario waterfront and is shared with roller bladers, cyclists and walkers. It is always a few degrees cooler down by the water and the passing scenery is great on both sides of the trail, so it is great in summer although we use it Spring and Fall as well. Never tried... Great for riding your bike or just a stroll. Also- there are nice sandy beaches in both Burlington and Hamilton (usually open for swimming now that bacteria/algae problems have been resolved). You have to cross the lift-bridge to get to the Hamilton side. I really enjoy our ride along the Hamilton side because you get to see other places (Baranga's,... More
