Summer Camping

Great place to take the grandkids .....not too far from home, lots of little playgrounds.....huge pool...but I found the water cold even though we are having a very warm summer.

Brant Conservation Area is a gem just a couple of minutes off highway 403. The highlight is the 1.25 acre man-made lake - essentially a giant concrete pool. The pool could use a paint job, but that doesn't really take away from the experience. Great lifeguards. Great area for picnicking. I haven't seen the campsites.

Took my two young children swimming. Brought a picnic but found we were not able to bring it in to the pool area. No snacks allowed at all. We had to leave our food in the car until we all decided to leave the pool together to eat. We were told we were not allowed to play with a beach... More

This is a great place for outdoor fun. Camping, swimming, and walking the trails are available for the outdoor enthusiast. I particularly enjoyed bird-watching and taking pictures. There is an eagle's nest in the park and you can see another one across the river. One caution, however, dress to keep yourself free of ticks. I found one attached to me... More

When you have friends camping here the park charges you to visit unless you have your friends pick you up outside of the park This is a major pain in the rear end so we don't go at all

Our entire family goes here for a day of family fun in the giant pool and we have a BBQ there. We go every year at least two or three times. We used to camp here all the time too and would like to start again. Hope to go there to camp this summer. It's a nice park!

Overall the trail was really nice.we went for a 2 hour walk and there was lots to see the trails were well maintained. the only problem was that the maps were not very helpful so it was hard to tell where we were. other then that it was a very nice trail.

Hidden Gem in the City, we have lived here six years with it within 6 km's from house and never new it was there until a company outing. We will definitely be returning with family and friends for some camping and fishing.
