A small farmhouse in the middle of a housing development with wide open green space. Great children's programming during the summer and many lectures and historical demonstrations. Well worth a visit!

In doing some research online about nearby attractions to visit (from Paris, ON), I stumbled on the Myrtleville House Museum, which was only a 15 min drive away. I always look for museums that are off the beaten track, and this one did not disappoint....More

Beautiful tranquil setting for this 100 plus year old farmhouse Settlers were considered wealthy and this is evident in the furnishings Great library for the times

They offer special occasion functions at Christmas time and at Easter. We have enjoyed their Easter Egg Hunt, making Christmas crafts, tasting the cider and getting a tour among other things. Its reasonable to go to.

I went with my son and a friend. We enjoyed ourselves walking around the museum. We meant to go for the museum but it was closed. You can only go there if your going on a class trip. We've got lots of nice pics there.
