Such a wonderful day with our granddaughter. She enjoyed the splash pad so much and couldn't do it without grandpa splashing her! Lots of room to move around and it's so clean too! The icecream truck stopped by so we indulged in soft serve. Bring your camping chairs a blanket and food to have a picnic. Hope you have fun cause we sure did!

I went there for the Victoria Day long weekend with my husband and 2 year old. We went to the petting zoo and rode he rode the pony. There was also a few playgrounds, but the splashpad wasn't open yet.
The snack bar is over priced and we ended up throwing out the hotdog as it tasted gross. The bread was stale and their only condiments was ketchup and mustard, even my 2 year old who loves fries, refused to eat it, so a total of $10.00 went into the garbage. I'll remember to bring my own snacks/drinks next time we visit.

There are quite a few things to do here. Whether you visit during a special weekend when they have a planned entertainment or just any time during the week! from the mini indoor and outdoor petting zoo, the pond beautiful hugh pond, the nursery, the exotic outdoor gardens, the amazing splash pad, and I could go on! You can take a paddle boat out with your family and just enjoy the surroundings. I find it a wonderful place to relax with a book, with or without my kids.

My daughter and I took spent an afternoon here with my 3 grandchildren. What a wonderful park. It offers so much to do for the little ones. Entrance to the park is free. There are a few rides (for a nominal fee) such as a small carousel, a little train ride and mini roller coaster all of which my 3 yr old grand daughter loved. The splash pad is absolutely fantastic as are the two playgrounds. There's a very nice (and very clean) petting zoo and a place where you can take the little ones for a pony ride. There is a snack bar and public washrooms. The park is huge and offers so much for families. I was really impressed and would highly recommend it.

We love having picnics here. There's lots of places to set up your picnic for the day, and lots of things to see and do for the kids (mini moo farm, splash pad, wading pool, etc). Great place to spend time with your family.

This has been upgraded with newly built activity areas which are clean and pleasing to enjoy. Lots of things to do and if you are in a relaxing mood, just chill in a serene corner with your book and music...

Excellent destination for the family .Huge wading pool that can accommodate a couple of hundred and has the splash pad attached. There is also a separate water splash pad , a farm for the children to see animals, and at certain times the train, merry go round, pony rides and petting zoo are also there for entertainment. A large greenhouse and floral gardens are also there. In the ponds, you can see the ducks and swans. Parking is free and every area is wheelchair accessible. Picnic areas are avail for families.

can i throw a small gathering at the park? are we allowed to bring food?
Written November 10, 2022
There are usually gatherings at this park. And some of them not small at all.
We have celebrated my son's birthday there in summer, where children can enjoy the splash park and playground.

Are dogs allowed at Chinguacousy park?
Written August 14, 2018
I have seen dogs in that park but since I don't own one myself, I do not know if there is a no to your question. You would have to clean up after them if the animal soils the park. Brampton does have two dog parks not far from Chinguacousy. Contact the SPCA in Brampton for that information.

I would suggest you contact the City of Brampton Parks and Recreation. Unless you are going skating the weather is not conducive to eating outdoors in January . This department could indicate regulations that apply to cooking outdoors. There is a canteen and restaurant on the grounds but one would have to confirm whether they are open during the winter season.
