We come here regularly with the dogs. Summertime is great to walk across the water or sit on the rocks and watch the dogs playing. A few trails and camping sites too...

Went for a hike with a dog during high water. Trails were wet in areas but still passable. Not well marked if you are nervous about that, but just follow the river. Great outing! Did a 6km hike and enjoyed every minute.

Back to nature & loving it...so wild yet so naturally gorgeous...We enjoyed splashing & swimming on the water steps & miniature waterfalls on the Moira River. Our shore picnic was a hit too.

Great place for a picnic, some fishing, and frolicking in the water. There are no amenities, just a pretty spot to spend a hot afternoon.

Make sure to put on your bug spray 🤣, biking is great, the rocks are very flat, the water is very shallow, we did not see any wildlife, but a great place.

Being city dwellers, my partner and I relish the opportunity to get out in nature and enjoy a brisk walk and some solitude. Vandrwater is absolutely lovely, not too busy and had so many different places to stop and chill out. The river rapids are...More

I love this place as it's close to home, dog friendly, flat terrain. So amazing to go on a spring walk, see the beauty of nature in the spring along the river.
