An interesting visit to see how hats are made and to find the perfect hat for any occasion. Our shop/studio is a place to linger and enjoy shopping again. Everytime I go downtown I make a point of stopping in at this darling shop! The atmosphere is so refreshing and I always manage to find something unique to want to take home with me (sometimes I actually do!). The hats and hair pieces are to die for. The vintage items are gorgeous. They have beauty products that they make in house, the Midnight Jasmine perfume is my favourite! I also love that they try to feature and support other local artisans by carrying locally made goods that compliment their stock.
This shop is so much more than a hat store, it's a hidden gem.

This shop is FULL of amazing things! Their hats are utter magic and their attention to detail is something you must witness. They have amazing vintage items including, dish wear, clothing, slips, jackets, gloves, shoes and of course vintage hats. Beautiful handmade perfume oils, makeup and bath items, also paper & stationery, plus ink and everything in between!! Such a cute shop tucked into the Lakeshore Mews, a must visit if you’re in Barrie!

My need to see more French in a country that has it as the second language, I was thrilled to see this little hat shop! It's adorably tucked under the century buildings in downtown with a lovely view of the waterfront in the spring for the darling hat maker to sit and look at while she makes her hats... yes, as you walk in there she is making hats! It's like stepping into a time machine really, the days before Wal-Mart and other premade, generics. I recommend a stop in and even a little support for the art! I applaud the effort of the shop and every one inside!

They crafted a gorgeous hairpiece for me using my Nana's pearls which I wore for my wedding. I was very impressed with the look and quality of the finished product, and it was so special to feel as though my Nana were with me on the big day.

I had treatment causing me to lose my hair. My son initially found this lovely little store, next to Bliss Yoga Studio, and told me about it. My first visit sealed the deal, I loved the store and found the two young ladies there very knowledgeable and helpful, as well as talented in the art of has making! I have since bought a few hats and always very satisfied. Word of warning though, you will get hooked! I want everything in this charming little store, mix of hats, bags and vintage finds, highly recommenr a visit.
