We purchased a 4 hour ice fishing experience through Groupon. It was difficult to prepare for the trip as we were first-timers wanting to try something new and found it difficult to get the answers we needed. We tried calling and emailing several times but never got a response until the very last minute. There is a portable potty in... More

Our group of four had an enjoyable time on Lake Simcoe last night! I agree with most reviews. If I hadn't visited Minnets Point a week before to check location and facilities , I wouldn't have been prepared. Camping chairs are a must! We were a little disappointed that propane heaters were provided instead of the wood stoves indicated on... More

Thanks to a gift from my wife, me and four other buddies tried ice fishing for the first time. We went at night in -30 degrees! The tee-pees (not cabins) were a unique design, a good source of discussion. There was a bench provided, mostly for gear, with logs for seats and 8 holes cut and ready for fishing. We... More

My boyfriend had never been ice fishing so when I saw the Wag Jag deal we seized the opportunity. I hadn't been since I was a little girl and that was at a local fishing hole .. no hut of any sort. Anyways my boyfriend is not what you would call an Outdoors man so I wasn't quite sure if... More

I WROTE TO THEM, I found your WAGJAG officer somewhat misleading. Only AFTER you purchase and pay for a ice fishing package, do you find out that PROPANE is not included for the supplied PROPANE HEATER??. I consider this to be profiteering. This would be like saying you supply orange juice, but the oranges are extra? 10 Dollars for one... More

Bought the deal through Groupon. The picture showed cabin instead there were tarp teepees which were cold. No wooden stove, instead there was a propane heater, which heated one side only. There were unstable tree stumps for sitting. Extras: 20$ for propane, and 10$ for minnows. Propane heater turned off when tried to point to another direction.

After reading the reviews the night before we had signed up for this outing, I was a bit nervous on what we were getting ourselves into. I think it all comes down to what your expectations are. I didn't see ice fishing as a glamorous adventure. I expected a cabin resembling an old shed with a whole drilled in the... More

Bought this from Wag Jag as an xmas gift. This was absolutely terrible as nothing was even remotely similar to what was advertised on their website. We arrived and there were just a few young men standing around, no-one told us anything until after about 10 minutes they said pick a hut. There were no cabins as shown on the... More

Bad experience. Will never use these people again. False advertising, They have teepee's as huts which are very very cold. Logs of wood as seats. The teepee hut door does not close properly and lets the cold in. You have to walk out to your teepee. You have to pay for propane , you pay for minows, So for $100... More
