I like to jog along the beach, scaring all the seagulls flying away. I like to stay around the play ground, some time I do pull ups there.

We rented canoes to use on Lake Simcoe. We didn't know about the beach at the time, and we met our canoe person near the beach/boat launch area. The water was beautiful, and the lake was lovely. After canoeing the lake for about an hour and a half, we went back to the beach area. I noticed that the beach... More

Driving along Lakeshore Drive we stopped in, finding a parking spot at the South end. Parking is definitely at a premium. The park is well maintained and is adjacent to the beach. Lots of shady trees along the pave walking/cycling paths. The concession building also has changing facilities. Good playground.

There is an ice cream booth as well. The only down side is sometimes you can smell the sewage plant and it can be difficult to... More

Why not go to the park and combine it with the beach. A little frustrating for parking but with the renovations to the water front hopefully once done it will be beautiful

We went there on Kempenfest weekend this year. The beach and kids play area are clean and it is well life guarded. Life guards are friendly and also diligent in watching the water for rough play and inappropriate and unsafe conduct which is great. Kempenfest stalls were moved to a different area this year which maintained the beach and play... More

The kids had sooo much fun playing at this amazing park. Then when it got too hot they went for a dip in Kempenfelt Bay to cool off. Lunch was wonderful there at Kenzington Burger restaurant right at the beach.

Lots of room on the beach. Clean sand and shallow waters for children. Nice little play ground. Great for families and couples.
