Lots of room on the beach. Clean sand and shallow waters for children. Nice little play ground. Great for families and couples.

First of all, we went on MOnday, which is one of the days the City drags the sand to get all the debris out of it. So that was nice. (I think the other day is Friday) Lots of room for us on the beach. A large lifeguarded area, but they don't come on duty til noon. The burger stand... More

A nice place to relax, walk, run, bike, rollerblade, swim or just soak up the sun. The view of the lake is stunning, and if you adore there for the sunset, it's even more breath taking !

The only complaint is people that don't use garbage containers, and there is no shortage of them. Lots of overflowing containers. I think the City... More

The playground is a fun and challenging for little ones. The beach is lovely and sandy. We in Barrie are very fortunate to have had our waterfront previously owed by a railroad so have a very large public waterfront. There is a walking/ bike path goes for several kilometres.

The city of Barrie has lots going for it including easy access to both Toronto and cottage country to the north. The jewel of the city itself is the waterfront. A wide bay with walking paths all around it, paths that meander between tall tres and excerise places. There are also several Pokemon Go stops that always have like minded... More
