The park is a lovely place to enjoy fresh air walk get some exercise - the new board walk is lovely - my daughter and I walk the lakeshore every day its beautiful

Still with my daughter, we stayed for about 30 minutes, just enjoying the pleasant surroundings, although work had started on vastly updating the grounds. Really with a picnic!

Parking is by the hour and there are multiple parking lots available. There are shaded areas in the park for hot days.
