Started off parking at the Sportmens Lodge(very friendly and helpful advice ) on Kukagima Lake and canoed12 km to Donald Lake to a beautiful camp site about 1/2 way up on the east side on a point with views up/down the lake. The Temagami lake system seems to stretch forever and there's plenty of room to feel like the only person on the planet once you get out of the busier northeast arm.
