Loved our Funday but **Beware at the change rooms!

We spent $230 for our family of five and managed to get on three rides. The line ups were absolutely insane. The wave pool was like humanity soup; people banging and crashing into each other because they were just packed into the pool. Husband and daughter waited two hours for the loop de loop because the slides kept shutting down.... More

We had a great 2 days. We were offered to come back for only 12$ so we did. We packed a picnic, bring loads of sunscreen and park our selves at the wave-pool. Be careful if your packing a lunch not to bring any glass containers. They will also check all bags and coolers at the entrance. Park was SO... More

This was our 2nd visit to Calypso. It is a great place to spend the day - we felt like we were in the Carribean with the cuban music on, sunshine, and water. This year everyone was over 52 inches allowing everyone to go on most of the attractions. Definiately a family friendly place. Here are some of my observations... More

It was my first time at Calypso and what a great day it was! I was there with my family and everything was fun, the park is rather small but there is alot to do. There was not a single thing wrong during our day, we had alot of fun! I would definitely return!

We had a great time at the Clypso Water Park. My husband enjoyed the water slides and I loved the wave pool as well as the lazy rivers. Great place to take the family. Lots of fun. Water activities for all ages. I would defenetely go again.

Went to Calypso with the family and had a great time. It was a Thursday, sunny and 37 degrees so we expected big crowds. There were huge lines but they move fast for the volume of people. Must do the aqualoop, Kongo ride and Boomerang. Get here early and do the big rides before the park fills up. All rides... More

2 adults + 7y + 3y - this was our fourth visit. Love this place. We've been to Mont Cascades but Calypso is worth paying double. It is a far more grand water park and the water is heated. There is SO MUCH MORE to do for kids. Did I mention the water is heated?!? We packed a picnic and... More

We went on Wednesday August 10th and it was a gorgeous sunny day (30 plus degrees)! There is lots of parking and the rates are very reasonable compared to other theme parks. We rented a cabana which was so worth it! There are 3 lounge chairs and a table with 4 chairs included. If you don't rent the cabana there... More

Go early to get a picnic table!!!!! The rules are clear and we followed them so we had fun! If you bring your own cooler make sure you do not have any glass even in your cooler (like unopened salsa jar) or they will take it. there are $ lockers and things are well marked. Buy your tickets online and... More

Calypso is a massive Waterpark just outside of Ottawa. It is home to the largest wave pool in North America and tallest watersides. There is a bit to do for everyone. There are plenty of seating areas and restrooms around the park. The attractions are all fairly close together. Line ups on most attractions move fairly quickly. This was our... More
