Good but for the racist Kongo ride.

We live in upstate New York, and this past summer I purchased season passes to Calypso for myself and my kids. The park is just 54 miles from home, even though it's near Ottawa (which is closer than our other New York options). A season pass for next year is only $99, if you buy early (in September). My kids... More

Park is good. However, I am deeply disturbed by the racism embedded in the Kongo ride. Hard to believe a park in this day in age would design something so culturally inappropriate. IF I take my African-Canadian children to that park again they will certainly NOT be going on that ride.

This location was awesome for our family. There is a lot of shade for those of the family who do not want to take part in the activities. You can bring your own food which is a refreshing take on how amusement parks treat their customers (take note Wonderland). The water slides are great. The wave pool is awesome. The... More

My friends and I had so much fun!!! This is the first water park I've ever been to and I want to come back. We arrived around noon and found a picnic table among the trees, a nice and shady spot. If we had arrived earlier, we might have been able to get a table near the wave pool or... More

We visited the park on a cooler overcast day in August. They was a wide variety of slides and adventures for all ages. Lines were not a problem...likely due to weather. The wave pool was huge and pretty wild...even a little dangerous. The lazy river was different from.others I have floated along...quite enjoyable. Kids had a blast. Some slides looked... More

This Water Park exceeded all expectations. Great lay out with not much walking between the slides and pools. The park itself is outstanding for the amount of Picnic tables with umbrellas or smartly located in shaded areas among a natural forest. The staff are very friendly and the events are well monitored for your safety. We arrived early at opening... More

I have had a membership for 4 years but I find the park is too busy now and we will not be returning next year. There are no security officers walking the park so I assume that is a requirement because there have been issues. I do find it clean and it was always that way. The staff is neutral... More

We took our three teenage children and had a blast! We enjoyed the water and the food. I found prices to be reasonable. The wave pool was a little much for us the waves are to big and a tad dangerous for anyone under 15. We loved the lazy rivers and spent a lot of time floating around. Great place... More

We spent $230 for our family of five and managed to get on three rides. The line ups were absolutely insane. The wave pool was like humanity soup; people banging and crashing into each other because they were just packed into the pool. Husband and daughter waited two hours for the loop de loop because the slides kept shutting down.... More
