About
We are local climbing guides. We offer a climbing experience for everyone. All ages and levels. Climbing courses, Camps and tours, Workshops and many other activities. We are based out of Cornudella de Montsant, we guide all around Catalunya.

Amazing day sport climbing with Santi. Super capable instructor and very friendly person. Santi chose routes that were diverse in climbing style, as well as difficulty, perfectly fitting our level of climbing. Would highly recommend him to everyone who wants to go climbing.

Hace unas semanas estuvimos con mi novia visitando Cataluña y se nos ocurrió contratar a un guÃa para conocer los sectores de escalada de la zona. Después de averiguar un poco al respecto nos contactamos con Santiago y la verdad fue acertado, es muy profesional, motivador y con mucha buena onda! Nos llevo los sectores de Margalef y Siurana donde pudimos probar todo tipos de vÃas y de variados niveles. Gracias Santi y hasta la próxima vuelta!
A few weeks ago, me and my girlfriend went to Cataluña and we thought about hiring a guide to get to know well the climbing crags around the area. So after some research we found Santiago and to be honest we did not go wrong. He is really professional, encouragement and cool as well! He took us to Siurana and Margalef where we had been able to climb different types of routes and levels. Thank you and see you next time!

We were in Siurana, Montserrat, Margalef and Arboli area for 4 days and climbed with Santi from South Climb. Santi is an excellent climber (very strong and knowledgeable) and an extraordinary guide with ~20 years of guiding experience. We spent 4 days back to back climbing with Santi and he taught us an incredible amount and helped us learn new skills. Santi even encouraged us to lead some pitches/routes in Montserrat, Margalef, Arboli and in Siurana. Santi also made sure to take us to the local favorite spots: climbers bars, restaurants, etc. so we could have an authentic Spanish climbing experience. After this area, we were planning to climb near Valencia and Santi connected us to one of his guide friends who turned out to be excellent as well.
We are really grateful to Santi and feel strongly that he is the reason we had such a wonderful time climbing in Spain. We feel like we have left with great memories and an awesome friend.

PS: If you like dogs, Santi's dog Luna is the absolute best!!

We went climbing to Siurana and Montserrat... Both amazing places.
The climbing and the views are awesome.

We were on last June climbing with my wife and kids on Cataluña region. It was an extraordinary experience. The guide, Santiago, is wonderful, lot of experience and very concern about safety.

Santi took us to amazing places to climb. The best climbing guide, totally recommended. Monserrat and Siruana were great spots to climb and have fun

My family and I have been climbing with Santiago every summer since 4 years. Having experienced numerous guides all over the world i must say it has been exceptional each time: excellent knowledge of climbing sites, perfect selection based on capacities and group, great way of conveying his knowledge about knots and techniques, endless patience for the kids (ages 5, 8, 10) and lots of fun challenges for daddy. Finally also went multi-pitching in Montserrat with him alone yesterday, and it was an great day - though every part of my body hurts today .... :-) can only recommend Southclimb warmly.
