I'm a beer enthusiast in my mid 20s who has been on about 20 brewery tours across North America and Europe, and without a doubt the Keith's brewery is the most disappointing. I respect the history that the museum has and I do appreciate that they recently started to actually brew small batches beer again at the brewery. However, the... More

What a fantastic experience touring the brewery with our amazing private guide Bill who showed us some of the off beaten corners of the tour allowing us to tune into the Paranormal activity and experience the visions of the pub and surrounding area of days gone past. Great for the history and ghost buff. Was an honor to met Mr.... More

Loved the tour of the brewery. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the Halifax area and the process of brewing beer. My boyfriend and I were really impressed with the tour and the people. We will be recommending this brewery tour to others. Thank you so much for making our visit so wonderful.

This tour is just good fun, and should be viewed from that perspective. You won't learn profound lessons about beer making, but you will enjoy yourself. The kids conducting the tour are clearly having a good time, and their attitude is infectious. The tour price includes a tiny bit of Halifax history, a tiny bit of beer brewing lore, and... More

We really enjoyed our tour! It was low season so we had a private tour - really learned a lot, had a lot of fun, enjoyed the samples! However, at $25/pp I feel the tour is overpriced.

Now a museum depicting the processes involved in making this great ale, from the malt plant, brewing plant, bottling plant. There is the Red Stag Tavern on the premises which is open for meals and to drink Alexander Keith's beers and ales.

I have been to numerous brewery/wine/distillery tours worldwide. This is by far the worst. They are stuck in this funk where the same is good. Tour guides are brutal. The beer is the worst in the city. The capital of craft brews.

Not your typical brewery tour. While you do get a history of the Keith family and an explanation of the brewing process and seeing the brewing facility, you get so much more. The staff dress up in Scottish attire, and they have a party for you after with live music and old Nova Scotian tunes. My Grandfather and I had... More

This was one of the best tours I have been on and I do not even like beer! The staff were so good....friendly, energetic, fun and very knowledgable. A great mix of history, beer tasting and music!

If you've taken brewery tours before, you're in for a most pleasant treat. This is NOT like any you've ever had before. Sure they talk about wort, show you tanks, etc. but you actually get to taste the different malts and grains used. You're serenaded by local singers playing "down home" music. You get to walk thru the 1820 structure... More
