I recently went on the Keith's Brewery Tour with a bunch of friends and although it was fun, it was not educational. The entire thing is literally staged. They have actors in period costume who "take you back" to Keith's time. For the acting and the atmosphere, it's a good time. But if you're looking for a straight-forward "how to"... More

I do not drink beer, but this was a great time. I did force myself to sample some beer and learned , for those of us who do NOT like beer that we need to sample the blonde beer. All in all a.fun event for the whole family

I was amazed at how much we got to drink on this tour! We had our Family from Northern Ireland out for a visit. The brewery was good, tasting was awesome and the small party at the end made it all worth it. We went to the attached pub for hours after. We drank Cornerstone beer and the Family drank... More

We went for a tour, and we started with a small beer. We had to smell the beer and hold it up to look at the color and we swished it before we tasted it. I would recommend going on the tour.

The building is nice, the people doing the tour are really funny and nice. The 30$ cost is too much to taste some beer. Kind of interesting for the history but the visit per say, not worth 30$ in my opinion. If you want to taste beer and visit, I would suggest a beer tour that we did. 3 hours... More

Interesting bundling to explore and view the brewery. Several other store and restaurants are also located inside. Nice way to spend an hour or two.

Starts out with a standard discussion on how the beer is made, and ends up in a 'bar' with song. Tastings dot the way throughout the tour. Building is beautifully maintained- period specific- and the 'actors' are entertaining. This tour is a bit pricey, but worth it if you are in Halifax visiting.

My wife, son and I did the tour in a Saturday afternoon really enjoyed ourselves. You will learn a little bit about the man Alexander Keith and what he meant to the city of Halifax while gaining a knowledge of how a brewery works. There are lots of beer samples to be had while the tour guides entertain and educate... More

We were unsure about going for the tour, but a few of our friends had mentioned that you must check it out, if you are in Halifax. We went with another couple, and had a great time. It was like going back in time, a few 100 years. We saw the process were the beer is brewed, naturally sampled the... More
