Great market during the weekend...but don't expect that there are any vendors on a weekday...we went during the weekend and it was packed...had hoped to visit again during the week for a quieter visit, and the doors were open, and there were only 2 vendors...More

We ended our walk at the market before boarding our train. So many amazing artists and food kiosks. We purchased snacks and lunch.

We enjoyed this market just as much as the farmer's Market in St. Jacob, Ontario. It's very large, has two levels, and is chock full of local vendors. A great place to shop, and a great place for a meal!

Right on the harbourfront, locals and tourists love this place. All kinds of local fresh produce, meat, cheese, crafts, paintings....I even saw a pizza slice with an egg cooked into it!! A must to visit right on the harbor walk.

This is a very long building along side the harbor and is filled with lots of market booths for souvenirs, bakeries, cafes, etc. It was great place to have a relaxing lunch and get some local souvenirs.

We enjoyed this market particularly the art tables. We bought a small water painting of the Halifax landscape, -unusual and collectable.

A must see for any trip to Halifax. Come on Saturday morning and stay for lunch! There are lots of stalls to explore. There's even a guy who sells the best Doubles I have ever eaten (And I lived in Bed Stuy!)
