Lots of things for kids and adults to do.

Kids really enjoy this centre, it has lots of neat science things but in a fun way. Lots of activities to do and see and keeps children busy for hours.

We only had about an hour and regretted not being able to see everything it had to offer. The Discovery Centre has made science fun! The only criticism we have is that the presenters, who were great, should have had microphones as it was sometimes hard to hear them. (Microphones aren't that expensive, Discovery Centre)

Lots of stuff to do for young kids. I'd say anyone heading into their teens is going to hate it. My daughter is almost 2 and loved the place. OK, so she didn't understand half of it but she found plenty to entertain her.

During our time in Halifax we decided to visit the discovery centre for the afternoon. We were greeted by friendly, smiling staff who were eager to answer any questions. The centre offers three floors to explore and enjoy with staff near by to assist in any of the activities. The areas to explore range from basic science, telecommunications to electrical... More

Good for families with kids under the age of 8? No parking, tired old stuff but great staff. Wouldn't go again.

Thanks Darius for taking the time to write a review, and glad to hear our staff were a highlight for you. We're sorry to hear though, that your visit was nothing special. We can't argue that there is definitely some older pieces here; it's one of the reasons we are so excited about the impending move to our NEW Centre!... More

Both the 8 year old and the 16 month old equally seemed to get a lot of their visit. I would recommend....especially on a rainy day.

Great family outing, a little pricey, and much of the exhibit has been the same since i was a kid, but still my little guy enjoys it, and i enjoy taking him and they usually have a couple new things here and there.

The staff have created an awesome and exciting hands on learning experience for young people - toddlers to teenagers. It is a an excellent place to introduce young minds to various branches of science. The staff are excellent and very patient with young children. Working the T-Rex was a highlight for my young grandson. The entire visit was a 'go-go'... More
