It was absolute fun being on the Harbour Hopper. It is an interesting and a giant looking vehicle which was apparently built for use in Vietnam War. Steps are a bit high to climb and therefore elders need some help. The boarding point was adjacent to the Maritime Museum and the tickets can be purchased diagonally opposite to the boarding... This is a must when you've got an hour to spare in Halifax. 4 of us took the tour and I wasnt sure what to expect but I was really glad we'd decided to give it a go. Our tour guide was very well informed and knew a lot about the city and the history surrounding it. About half an... More

Our trip on the harbour hopper was fun and interesting. We got lots of information of the history of the city and its harbor. Our guide was a bit dramatic but informative and kept your attention nonetheless. It was perfect to see the city of Halifax from the streets and the harbor.

The guide was informative and friendly and the driver/captain joined in the fun. It gave a good introduction to the city and was well worthwhile.

We took the Harbour Hopper Tour to see what there is to see in Halifax before setting out on foot later. The tour was interesting, the guide was informative, and the ride was "unusual". As per said guide, these vehicles were originally built to be used in the Viet Nam War.. (Supposedly 900 of them were built, at the cost... More

This 2-1/2 hour tour is worth the price--about $27 American including tax. You have to be able to climb the steps to get into the vehicle. We had a very pleasant experience taking the Harbor Hopper tour of Halifax. Kaleigh gave us some good history of the town and buildings, including a drive through the Citadel, before plunging into the... More

We were visiting Halifax for the second time on a return trip from a cruise to Quebec City. We already did Peggy's Cove and wanted to learn some history of the city and wanted to take a ride in the bay so we bought tickets for the Harbor Hopper. The tickets were reasonably priced and the tour was very informational.... More

We were in Halifax just for 1 day and this is a must tour. The land portion of the tour give you the chance to know key locations in the city and some of the history. The water portion of the tour was amazing, great experience for my kid. All the family enjoyed. Our guide, which I forgot his name,... More

The duck tour was ok. If you have done a duck tour before you may want to pass. The guide was nice and knew many people in the town.
