First a disclaimer. I am a park lover, and am an aficionado of the great outdoors and park space, as a regular hiker/runner/biker of trails in the Pacific NW and BC. Point Pleasant Park offered a number of wonderful surprises: history and proximity to downtown...More

There are plenty of trails throughout the park. You can just walk the path along the shore. There is usually activity be it freighters, sailboats or a warship. A section of the park is off leash but we were there on a weekday and there...More

I have visited this incredible park many times over the past 20 years and it is always a treat. Beautiful mature trees, wide maintained walking trails, grassy areas and a waterfront view. A must visit for any trip to Halifax

There was plenty of free parking here, which was a bonus to me. The views of the water and the sea breeze were perfect for a walk on a summer day.

Beautiful park right on the water with plenty of walking areas or jogging areas for yourself and your pet. Very clean with hidden little walk ways into the wooded areas. Plenty of spots to just sit and enjoy the view.

Great location with walking trails all around the waterfront and through the middle of the park. Lots of dog walkers everywhere. It seems to be a favourite spot for joggers as well. A few historical locations within the park with signage and audio explanations available...More
