Summer day outing

The place has a great potential but needs huge renovations. The kids enjoyed it but will not be back again!

We have been to numerous theme parks and such so comparisons are obvious. This park needs an upgrade. The rides are old and rudimentary. There is only one water slide which costs 16 per head and is not that great to begin with. The only saving grace would have been the go carting but unfortunately the track is really bumpy... More

I hadn't been in at least 15 years so I was excited to return with my kids. We had a great time and will return but have a few suggestions. 1. Ticket upgrade for bracelet holders instead of paying full price for the tickets to access things such as the go carts. Maybe even bracelet sharing for parents. We spent... More

There are quite a few basic rides/attractions that can entertain the young ones for hours, but I was disappointing in the cleanliness and maintenance of the park.

You have to take it for what it is. While it's cheesy and a bit over-priced the little ones still enjoy the rides and venues. On the plus side it's never over-crowded and the wait for the rides are minimal. It's okay for killing a day with the kiddies.

This was my first time at the park and I took a 4 year old and a 1 year old. I found the price very high for what you get, but it beat driving the 2 hour, one way trip, to Upper Clements. It cost us $86 for a family of 4. Children, of any age, are not free. My... More

As an adult you quickly realize there is not much to this park and it's needs some major improvements. In the eyes of a small child it's a pretty cool place with lots of stuff to see and do. We have been here several times over the years so we stopped for a few hours with a couple of little... More

My sister broke her wrist in two places in the batting cages after the ball fired at a crazy angle. Staff could not have cared less, would not even offer first aid. My husband had to run to even get her ice as staff did not care. Management has repeatedly refused to even talk to us about this situation. Not... More

An easy to find amusement park with some very nice, convenient features, Atlantic Playground is a good place for a day-trip with the kids and/or family. What you'll need: sunblock, hand-sanitizer, small ziploc baggie for $/cards & keys, and waterproof footwear safe for walking and wet rides (strap sandals are best). What you don't need: a $10 locker by the... More
