It was a beautiful sunny day. There are different places you can sit and just watch the water if that is what you want to do. The history on the Prim Point is very interesting - especially how they "lifted' things up from the water and how they "lowered" people. It was a good read!

The long climb out of Digby to get to the Fundy shore is beautiful on it's own, with lots to see along the way. On a good, clear day, at the top of the rise, you can even see the Irving Oil tanks at St John, NB. Dropping down slightly you come to the end of the road and the site of the Point Prim lighthouse. No longer in use or maintained, the lighthouse is not the reason to visit... but the view! Oh the view!. If you time it right you can spend a good hour watching the Fundy Rose arrive or depart. Just make sure it's a sunny day.

You have to go see this place. When you arrive, the Bay of Fundy is open to view. Access and exit passage for the Princess Of Acadia from Digby to St. John N.B. Beautiful view of the jagged Nova Scotia coast line North Eastern direction and North West coastline and watch the burnt orange sunset as it fades in the Bay. View the wildlife and the fishing boats as they go about their chores.

This is an unusual lighthouse as it is attached to the house, which I assume was once a lighthouse keeper's cottage. It is beautiful, though, with bright red vertical stripes. The tower is not accessible but the grounds are. It overlooks a nice scenic view.

This is a nice historic lighthouse that has been decommisioned but is maintained by a local group. There are plaques around the lighthouse explaining the history of light and its keepers. The drive out to the lighthouse is easy and on paved road if you take the lighthouse road. The "scenic" drive along the shore the road is not paved in places and can be a challenge if it has rained recently - it is also not that scenic - stick to the paved road.

A peaceful short drive from Digby to the Lighthouse point. It's a nice view of the bay but nothing extraordinary. Worth visiting for a quick stop.

This lovely little lighthouse was set back from the road. The view of the ocean was nice. We had the special opportunity to view an eagle perched nearby on one of the rocks. My husband was able to get a nice photo to take home. The woman working there was one of many who make gorgeous quilts. We climbed way up to the top for a nice view, but too many spiders reside there as well. I recommend the molasses cookies on sale there for a mere $1 to sweeten your day.

Located on the road behind the Admiral Digby Inn.. a short drive. Nice area to sit and watch everything on the point as the sun sets. Very clean picnic area.

We drove to the Prim Point Lighthouse. Not far from where we stayed. Beautiful area. Walked down to the rugged coast where they have some benches where you can sit and enjoy the beauty of the area.

Is the road in gravel or pavement?

I know it is paved most of the way. I believe it is paved the entire way but cannot recall. By the way, the point of location showing on the Trip Advisor map is not correct. You must follow Lighthouse road all the way to the end to the point, There is a parking lot on the left
