Went to pay at the machine two other customers before me. All having a hard time making a payment. Coin and credit card only. I to get help, you have to run back and put the ticket in the car. We all missed our ferry. Will park at the lot up the street or drive over to Halifax, not convenient... More

I visited the Market the last Saturday in November, and found it bustling with activity. There was so much to smell, taste, see and enjoy. I purchased food from the bakers and found a few bargains. Some vendors over-price, but there is lots to choose. There is also lots of free parking, but be sure to arrive early. Upstairs is... More

I am trying to book tickets to the Christmas play at Alderney Landing theatre. I need one wheelchair accessible ticket for my sister and one general ticket for me. I called ticket pro to book the ticket and they don't book the accessible tickets. Ticket pro gave me the box office number which is just a recording to call ticket... More

Started at Alderney Landing Market early Sat morning and then explored the shops close by. We went a short distance up Octerloney Street to Christ Church on Dundas St and discovered Dartmouth Makers'Winter Market. It was one of the nicest craft displays I have seen and bought several unique items. Highly recommend this next year. From there we went to... More

Right on the Dartmouth waterfront, this place is more than just a ferry terminal. There is library, a couple of restaurants, and a farmer's market on weekends. Plus the grounds make a lovely spot to just hang out and watch the water.

I really enjoy taking a stroll through the market on Saturdays. Lots of Artisans, local food Vendors and more. This is the place to be on the week end. The Landing has picnic tables outside to sit and enjoy the view. It is easy for visitors from Halifax to get on, see the harbour and enjoy the other side. There... More

Near the public library, on public transit routes. A few really nice boutique type storefronts including food as well as art. Gateway to the ferry system and public library.

We were headed for the ferry to get over to the Halifax side and discovered a very nice and unique farmer's market happening right inside the ferry terminal. There were some great works of art and plenty of fresh produce and food goods to choose from. This is a good spot to spend an hour on a Saturday morning on... More
