Easy hike. Flat and well maintained. We did the full loop - very quiet on the non-Skyline side. Weather could have been better but still amazing views, ~2.5 hours for full loop. Lots of hikers, all ages, on the shorter trail. Bring water, bathrooms at...More

Stopped into the Skyline Trail to check out the views. We took the long trail through the woods instead of the direct walk to the lookout. The longer trail wasn’t great, just longer. I would have preferred going straight to the lookout and spend my...More

The end of the 4 mile trail is absolutely breathtaking!! There are several viewing platforms with benches to enjoy the gorgeous views, cool breeze and watch for whales. However getting there and back can be a little challenging depending on one’s physical abilities. The trail...More

This is a must do. Difficulty is low, but the views are splendid and breathtaking. I’m 55 and we did the full loop in about 90 minutes.

Easy walk to the lookout. I went there when it was raining around 8 am, so the view wasn't amazing. The parking was definitely huge and empty. Perfect for family, but there are better hikes and views in this National Park !

Not a rugged hike. 90% prepared surface (gravel or boardwalk). down hill to start...wonderful views at the overlook. Worth the walk if you have time. Fascinating information on Moose eating habits and impact on trees etc. We did this in the afternoon after playing golf...More

Myself, my son, daughter in law and grandson did this trail and loved it. It was a windy cool day but amazing. The views from the boardwalk was breath taking. To be able to see it this far up was out of this world. This...More

The GPS coordinates are way off for this - how can this be corrected ? The trail is in Cape Brenton Highlands National Park

This is a pretty easy hike as it is mostly level and mostly hard surface with only a few areas that needed attention because of tree roots. It appears that during our visit, they were in the process of working/repairing these areas. There are some...More

The Trail was thoroughly calming and relaxing. Have taken some of the best landscape photographs all around the trail with me and the group in them. The drive to and fro to this destination is equally breathtaking as the trail it itself.

Hi Fritz, We were able to buy the permits the day before at the visitor centre-not the ticket booth. If not, there was still quite a lot of parking available. Happy hiking, Tom
