Great spot for a picnic lunch. Currently, site is under renovation, so we couldn't actually enter the building, but we had a nice walk around the grounds.

Very nice reconstruction of Port Royal habitation. Great to see the roof being replaced/upgraded to preserve this site for years to come. Don't forget to check out the tee-pee near the site, and the two red chairs overlooking the river.

Arriving right at 9AM we had the area all to ourselves. We spent an hour going through buildings and reading the history of the area and the living way of the inhabitants.

Great place for a picnic or walk around when visiting Annapolis Royal. Good views of the sea. Plaques are there so you can learn the history of St Anne's Fort.
