Did the 1.5 hour garden tour, generally covering all parts of the garden. Very informative and knowledgeable volunteers that gave the tour. It's amazing what can be grown in this micro climate. Would love to come back when the rhododendrons are in bloom.

Impressed with the dedicated staff, variety of specimens attention to detail and maintenance of the properties. Even though it doesn't need to have a flower to be beautiful, there are plenty of blooms to see , even in early fall. Don't miss it!!

We enjoyed our visit to the gardens immensely. Some botanical gardens are too perfect and this was not one of those.it was lovely and very natural. Highly recommended.

Went mid-September-- less traffic and fewer tourists. Everything still very beautiful even the roses struggling to hold onto their once spectacular presentations. Informative re learning names of various trees/ flowers/ plants. Delightful way to spend time communing with nature.

Went through very quickly, so much to see. Everything is so well taken care of. Did not enjoy lunch at the snack place.... however, found a surprise exhibit at the room next to snack bar seen the Melanson Settlement replica.

We stopped at the Historic Gardens on our way to Digby. We only spent about 45 minutes here because we had a boat to catch but got to see most of what was there. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

It was a very hot day, but pleasant to walk around the gardens under the trees. We didn't get out onto the dyke (too hot) but the roses looked good and the sculptures were interesting.
