There was so much culture at this market I could've shopped all day. One stand with the freshest maple syrup (with taste testers), native art made my local natives, local artists displaying a variety of mediums they use, local novelists, bakers, canners, weavers, the list goes on and on. One of the most versatile markets I've been to.

All Year Long! I don’t live in Nova Scotia anymore, but every year when I visit, one Saturday is devoted to Annapolis Royal! The market and the little shops around it can easily take the whole morning! We stock up in preserves to leave the province with us, we find Christmas gifts, thank you gifts, delicious fresh produce for our stay in Nova Scotia and fun souvenirs for ourselves! ** Don’t eat breakfast before you go and definitely plan to have lunch at the market too!

We went here to simply purchase some veggies and fruit. Ended up with some luscious fresh strawberries (must be everbearing) and some wonderful fresh tomatoes. Not a large market, but not a large town. Some interesting vendors of locally made crafts. Spend some time here on a Wednesday in the summer. An excellent musician kept us entertained.

I've been to this market every week since moving here 6 weeks ago. Its a really neat concept as it has a wide variety of vendors from food and craft beer, some local artisans, even a sushi vendor! I purchase the majority of our veggies and meats here for the week. We've also gone to the midweek market but find for the two of us, the Saturday market is perfect. Since our dog is our second child, its nice to be able to bring him with us when we shop.

we expected a very commercial market...only, but what we visited was a very romantic, attractive and inspiring market with a commercial touch. So many well presented products that you could try, unexpected stands, live music that was excellent. The market was visited by many people and clearly deserves being visited by everybody in town. From our perspective an attraction on level of the Fort or the Botanic Gardens! Do not miss!
