Because of all the driving, she was too tired to go to the graveyard tour with me, and I almost missed out on one of the most enjoyable tours of our time in Canada simply because I am not keen on walking around graveyards at night... Absolutely recommendable! Mr Melanson, a descendant of the original first settlers in the place will tell vivid stories about the lives and deaths of the inhabitants of the area back to the 18th century. Well staged, he makes a very enjoyable and instructive tour.

Your graveyard tour guide Alan Melanson is a local treasure who has conducted these tours for many years as a member of the historical association. It's not a ghost tour; Alan tells the stories of several of the resident graveyard occupants in such a unique manner through his delivery of levity, sincerity, and respect. Above all it's about the rich... More

While a candlelight tour in an old graveyard sounds odd, this experience is not to be missed. Very informative living history from a 10th generation Acadian. Profits from the tour go to the Historical Society. Highly recommended.

Sounded a little creepy when I first heard about it. But one of the most engaging historical lectures I have ever heard. Unforgettable way to learn about a fascinating place through 500 years time. Don't miss this!

Get a very interesting an personal glimpse of Nova Scotia history in this tour. At a mere $9 (which is donated to the Historical Society), you get over an hour of fascinating stories while walking through a graveyard that is nearly 300 years old. Excellent tour.
