Unfortunately closed, but we strolled the grounds and read the information plaques, took pictures and enjoyed the area. Definitely worth a return visit.

We spent a sunny but chilly afternoon wandering around the grounds. The views over the water are first rate.

We spent an hour or so walking around the grounds, taking in the beautiful location. I can see why the 1st settlers decided to stop here! Worth a stop and at least an hour or 2.

Lovely location by the Annapolis River. Self-guided tour in historic building has wonderfully displays with very informative historical aspects of the past, specifically the Acadians.

I fo not know if they are opened in the winter. We got the senior's rate as I am an old gal, so it was only $6.80 for my old fellow and I.

If you only want to walk on the site, with a leash, I think you can. But if you want a guide you better with no dog.
