Beautiful and tranquil
Aug 2020
Absolutely beautiful place to visit. We were the only ones on the beach. Such tranquility! Our 2 year old grandson loved it! The water was very cold so we didn’t do any swimming. It was a foggy Monday morning but perfect!

great beach
Jul 2019 • Couples
a little off the main highway is this great sand beach on the scenic old highway. If an afternoon of sun and sand with few other people is what you are looking for, this should be on your list. it is a hidden treasure.

Beautiful
Jul 2019
Beautiful beach. Lots of waves, crabs, sand for the kids. Our 2 year old and 4 year old loved it. River comes in and water is warmer over there. Neat to see colour contrast. Be respectful of piping plovers nesting. Parking is limited but doesn’t seem like it ever gets too busy. Beautiful beautiful beautiful.

The Best Beach
Aug 2018 • Friends
Absolutely one of the best beaches I have ever had the chance to walk and enjoy. Every day went twice to the beach just to enjoy the calmness and beauty of the surroundings. Can't wait to see it again.

Views, quiet, nature and pristine wilderness
Aug 2018 • Family
This place is a pristine, hidden jewel in Nova Scotia. If you want to spend the day alone on a beach, with soft sand stretching in each direction, no one to bother you and just the sound of the waves lapping the beach to keep you company, this is the place. Round Bay Beach is the largest portion of this coastal getaway, but skip across the little creek (full of swimmable fresh water that gets deeper the further back from the beach you go) you end up on little Roseway Beach. Bring your wakeboards and skimboards, a picnic, and some firewood for a fire up on the rocks in the evening with some food to grill, and you will have a day that is set for the memory books

Peaceful
Jul 2018 • Friends
Sometimes you forget what beauty is sooo close to home. I sat on this beach with friends for an afternoon in July. It is so peaceful, so clean and just what the Dr. would order for your health. This beach is not at all crowded, matter of fact, for a hot Wednesday in the middle of July...we saw maybe 6 other people. The sand was glorious and the breeze was awesome. The water was not chilblain cold, just right for wading. I will be going back more than once next year.

Beautiful and uncrowded
Jul 2018 • Friends
It was lovely to take time off from a very busy schedule touring the Maritime Provinces. There were few people enjoying this magnificent beach and wandering along in the sunshine with just the gulls and the lapping waves for company was a perfect break. This is a place to spend an hour, an afternoon, or a whole day. You can walk literally for miles especially at low tide and the views are serene and beautiful.

I think it's actually called Round Bay Beach...... Regardless it is GORGEOUS!

Big and clean..... The sand is excellent for walking. There were 4 other groups on this beach but t we could hardly see them because there is so much wide open space. This beach compares to some of Australia's best!
