Best Riding Road

On a motorcycle I like twisty scenic roads. Annapolis Valley has it all. Route 1 takes you through small friendly towns

Very cute town we happened to drive through. Enjoyed the historic information and views from the battle area. Great shops and restaurants. Town had a parade happening when we were there which was nice. Very friendly town.

I have been in love with the Annapolis Valley since I first came here in 1977 to attend Acadia University. My feelings have not changed and I am so pleased to have moved back to Nova Scotia so that I can go to the Valley whenever I feel like it. My favorite stops include the many wineries, Fox Hill Cheese,... More

From the beautiful farms , quaint little towns , scenic hiking trails , apple orchards , vineyards and the massive 30 foot tides of the Bay of Fundy you won't be disappointed . Excellent afternoon on the Sunday Sipper tour. Went to 3 different wineries and had loads of wines to taste. In one we had 6 different wines and cheeses to go with each. All the wineries were good and Jeremy, our guide, was excellent - jokes a bit rubbish though!! Thoroughly recommend this.

I was in Halifax on a one week vacation in June and the highlight of the trip was the tour of Annapolis Valley with Robert Young of Tall Tale Tours. He was very knowledgeable and flexible with whatever we wanted to see. He was also patient and had a great sense of humor. He made sure we saw all the... More

Robert Young of Tall Tale Tours (Halifax, NS) took us on an all day tour of the Annapolis Valley (NS). The tour was absolutely fabulous. His knowledge & friendlyness made for a great tour. The time went quickly. We covered much history & territory. We would certainly recommend Robert for this & other Nova Scotia day tours.
