Have been a few times. GPS is wonky and will not get you here. I ended up at a church which was a ways away from their actual location. Its quite a little hike to get to the longest of the two lines but well worth the trip. The longer line provides a fantastic mountain view and the scenery is... More

The previous review exactly explains our experience. The only thing I will add is the owner smelled of weed and made us more uncomfortable then comfortable. Nothing was explained. He was late arriving and rushed us through as there was only two of us and a party of ten was coming behind us. He was quiet and rude. The harness... More

My husband and I went to Anchor's Above looking for a new experience. We had heard about zip lining and I had done it before but my husband had never tried it. We both enjoyed the zip lining itself, but owner/operator's attitude truly turned us off. He was very brusque and did not seem to want us there. He hardly... More

For my 52nd birthday one of my children gave me tickets to Anchors Above. My daughter and I decided to take the challenge. On the drive out there we were pretty nervous but determined to go ahead with it. The hike up to the first platform is pretty intense but it was worth it. The first line was perfect. The... More

For my 41st b-day I took my 15 yr old son, 13 yr old nephew and my b/f to Anchors Above Zipline. Overall the zip lines were great and I had lots if fun! The first line is nice and long; it breaks you in for the second line... The second line is much faster and I was a little... More

Pros: Long zip lines, friendly staff, always seem to have team buy/groupon deals (you need to pay the tax in cash/debit when you arrive @ $5 per couple) Cons: First hike up the hill, only 2 zip lines (it goes by too fast really), a bit pricey if you pay full price Located about 2 hours from Halifax, visiting this... A nice zip line ride down the mountain. Went down when it was foggy so couldn't experience the nice view but the ride was cool.

Took my third trip to Anchors above zip line. I really love this course, it's a great workout on the climb up to the lines and a ton of fun on the lines. We were the only people there that day and it seems a bit sketchy at first since there is only one guy taking you up. But no... More

I recently went on a zip lining excursion to Anchors Above Zipline. I am afraid of heights and was worried whether I would be able to do it or not, however I paid for it and off I went with 7 other people. It was an amazing adventure and I would do it again. The first line is about 250... More

We'd heard about this zip line through friends, and we finally had the chance to try it out in August 2013. The website description and videos are very accurate... there are two ziplines included in the price. The first line is long but fairly leisurely. The views from the first line are spectacular! Although the drop isn't as steep as... More
