About Strong Interpretation
There are many stories written here on this northern landscape of Yellowknife, in the movement of animals, in the growth of a jack pine and in the people that live here. Strong Interpretation loves to interpret those stories with customized & flexible tours for people looking for an authentic Yellowknife experience through hands-on, fun, and enlightening experiences.

... you need for your visit to Yellowknife. Our first morning was spent with Rosie on her Old Town walking tour which gave our small group the greatest perspective on the history, the culture and the nuances of Yellowknife. I believe in professional guides especially as your

Dear Lorne and Traveling Family, what a pleasure to host you all on the Walk in the Past Tour this week. It is a great way to kick off any stay in Yellowknife. And, thank you for the glowing review! You are too kind. I hope that you enjoyed all the recommendations and found your own stories among the winding roads of Old Town, on the ice, in the theatre, and out on the land. You fell into an awesome jam-packed week of happenings in our little big city, couldn't have planned it better. All the best to you, Nancy, Louie and Susan. Rosie

My five years kid loved this hiking very much! Thank you so much for letting us have a great day!非常美的景色,Rosie有非常棒的关于动物植物的讲解,小朋友非常喜欢。清早山里的景色特别美,徒步并没有想象的寒冷,新鲜的空气美丽的景色厚厚的积雪,非常棒的体验!

Hello Alyssa and little Jun You, thank you for a lovely morning with you both and of course, Bunny. So nice to see him in his natural environment and riding in your parka hood. I enjoy having children on my tours because it makes me look at the world in a different way. I hope your Mom appreciated the beautiful bag of icicles. Best gift ever! haha Enjoy the rest of your travels in North America. All the best, Rosie

I recently booked with Rosie for a short day trip up to Cameron Falls, NT. She is wonderful! Firstly, I often travel alone or as a duo, and its usually very hard to find tours that will take you out without a minimum of four or five people. Our hike up to Cameron Falls ended

Dear Wandering Erin, it was my pleasure to take you folks to the mosquito feeding grounds, I mean, Cameron Falls. haha You were such troopers. And, totally thrilled that the NWT was the last destination to check off on your Canadian Collection Tour. The best for last, right? It was a lovely day to spend with you both and introduce you to the boreal forest and its "changers". Loved the conversations and the expressions on new discoveries. So fun. I hope that toe dip in Cameron River has you anticipating your next visit up to your part of Canadian Shield country. All the best and hope to see you again in the future. Rosie

To reiterate what others have said in their reviews, Rosie is THE BEST! I took the "Take a Walk on the Art Side" tour my first full day in Yellowknife, to learn more about its artists and also to get a sense of the city. Rosie's many stories about the people who have contributed

I enjoyed a hike and picnic tour that I bid on at a charity auction. I took my parents who were visiting. Having lived in Yellowknife for a few years now I wasn't sure what the tour would add having been to the location of the hike and used to hiking and exploring on my own. I

Thank you Danielle for choosing this tour as the auction item you bid on for the Yellowknife Community Foundation fundraising gala. It was my distinct pleasure to host you all and share another perspective on a familiar place. Plus, let my inner Baba run wild and get to feed you with the gourmet picnic by a beautiful water view. Great conversation, a beautiful day, Candian Shield country, kindred spirits, and sharing a meal.. doesn't get better then that! Look forward to crossing paths again in Yellowknife and connecting with your folks next time they are visiting here.
