Tracy is the best! Her cozy cabin is amazing and she brings you there in style in her wonderful coach. Tracy's cabin is so cozy and all by itself under the dark skies just outside of Yellowknife. This is the best tour for nice small groups; great way to see the lights without being on a giant tour. This is the one!

Our experience with Cozy Cabin could not have been better. From the first time we made contact with the owner Tracy until the time we were dropped off, every need was personally looked after. We asked if we could book 1 night firm and 1 night flexible depending if my wife's motion sickness from the plane ride would allow us to visit the first night. Tracy's answer...no problem. We emailed a change request for our firm night as one of our other tours changed . Tracy's answer...no problem. When we were picked up on our second night I mentioned we were trying to book a flight to leave a day early but couldn't get through to the airlines due to the virus concerns. On our way to the Cabin, Tracy asked the other guest if they would be fine if we had a quick detour to the airport to see if they could get us in with the airline to reschedule our flight. Everyone agreed and Tracy went into the airport with me, found the airline staff and got me started on the change. Then she quickly went back out to update the bus. She quickly came back in for an update on time so it would not significantly impact the other guests and offered to send the bus back to pick me up once all the other guests were dropped off at the cabin. Fortunately I was only 5 minutes and we left together. Tracy is the owner and she has a beautiful bus that picked us up. She greeted everyone in the hotel lobby and made introductions to everyone once on the bus so we would all feel comfortable with each other. One person she introduced us to was Milan the driver who I will speak about later. The cabin location was perfect that we could observe the stars and the Aurora away from any light pollution. About the Cabin, it is cozy, heated by a wood stove which was nice as we went in and out throughout the night to observe the sky and it warmed us when we needed it. We were fed a devious bowl of fish chowder and homemade bannock.

Thank you so much. I appreciate the detail it is very kind. This is what we hope to offer our guests keeping the tour small. I am so happy all worked out with flights home, it is challenging for the airlines. We were very lucky to have you both nights, as we closed just days later. Thank You again Tracy

This is definitely worth experiencing if you're wanting to see the northern lights in style! Tracy is lovely and her knowledge of the north is second to none. I learnt more about NWT that evening than I had for the remainder of our stay in Yellowknife. Her cabin is very cozy indeed and is equipped with many many many vintage fur coats, hats, and gloves that guests are welcome to try on and wear to keep warm while outside. Very cool. Also, the food Tracy prepared was so good! I've never had fish chowder that delicious, and you can't go wrong with bannock and jam for desert. That in itself was enough of a great experience. But let's talk about the aurora borealis we saw. Just far enough from the city to escape the light pollution, the aurora were abundant and we were able to watch them and take many pictures of them throughout the night. Whenever we got too cold we would run back into the cozy and toasty cabin. Her driver/photographer was great, he was able to take pictures of the aurora for us since we only had our phone, which was too old to take good pictures of the aurora. Super memorable will never forget this part of our trip. We ended up going for a second time two nights later since we wanted to hang out with Tracy some more. If you're wanting to view the aurora while in Yellowknife, this is hands down the best option.

What an incredible experience! Tracy made me feel absolutely comfortable like we’d been friends forever. The cabin is so warm and cozy and hot chocolate with marshmallows- who could ask for more? But she provided the more....fish chowder and the best bannock ever with a variety of jams! Yummy. She had furs to try on and borrow and artifacts galore. And then stepping outside to view the lights—oh my goodness. Just oh my goodness. Milan the van driver so willingly took pictures for us and of us and immediately messaged them to us!!! It’s difficult to get a decent picture without a tripod so he was a savior. Best tour ever!!!!
