When you are in Yellowknife, don't forget to go to the Visitor Centre. Get a Certificate and Yellowknife pin from the Information Centre. Take photos with the huge Bear to mark your visit to Yellowknife.

As you walk in the main room, there are handouts that have been put together that compare the different viewing tours by options / features. Young female staffer was extremely helpful

The Visitor Centre is not at this location anymore. It wa smoved to a mall and we had a big problem finding it. No signs, no directions. The new place is still under development and it seems it will be a nice place in the future. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Visited here by chance on my short stay in Yellowknife and I'm so glad I did! Gave me a real feel for the culture of the Northern Territories.

Defo recommend :-)

Visit here to learn more about Yellowknife and what to see and do while you are here. Or even to get directions, like I did. The employees are very friendly and helpful. You will even receive a Yellowknife pin and certificate to take home with you. Walk around outside, see the musk ox and the park too

Easy to find and get to, quick walk from Franklin Avenue in the downtown. Staff were helpful and pleasant and took all the time we needed to get us sorted. Lots of information available, flyers and so forth....and the perfect place to warm up after hiking 'round the town

The staff are very helpful, very knowledgable and have all the info you need.
I made the mistake of leaving it till the last day of my 4 day visit to see them. I wish I had visited on the first day as I would have known much better what to do for my stay.
Visit them as soon as you can on arrival. You will benefit from it.
