Took a drive and dipped my feet in the Great Slave Lake ;) Very clean beach and nice little park Checked out the pier and the fishing boats On Saturdays you can buy fresh fish or have lunch on the pier of fresh caught fish Delish

The East Arm of Great Slave Lake is a largely undiscovered vast and magnificent wilderness. There are plans for a new Canadian National Park at the far reaches of the East Arm, but there are many other places to explore in the area. My husband and I made a stop at the North Arm Territorial Park located on the Frontier Hwy (Hwy 3) on Great Slave Lake, approximately 65 miles southeast of Yellowknife.
