St. John's is a magical city and these houses add to the magic. They are all over downtown and it creates a colourful place for a walk.

Narrow streets, sometimes without sidewalks - hosting very colorful housing, most of which is recently painted and well kept. Park your vehicle and enjoy a walkabout - much easier and you'll see the hidden gems you may miss if you drive on by.

So you are not looking for a specific couple of houses....the area (especially near duckworth street) has many houses that are brightly colored and make the "jellybean" row. Easy to walk around and see. No specific attraction

Love the colours and styles except for the steep walking, but that's St Johns. Just beautiful. Stayed in one of the apartments and the rooms were up and down also. Nothing flat.
