another fun site to visit. Lots of unique photos. Very colourful area. There are many streets with houses painted in a colourful manner.

As previously stated, there isn't one street but I found the best area was anywhere around Gower Street and Victoria or Gower and Prescott. Start there and you won't be disappointed.

Definitely recommend spending time walking on Jellybean row. Each houses are different and worth your time. Close to downtown. We parked in the public parking at the intersection of McBride and Duckworth.

a look at historic houses in St.John, they are not open to the public but you can meander around the area.

Nothing too exciting, but it is worth driving or walking by the area to take a quick look at the houses. These seem to be pretty common style houses throughout town.

One never thinks that Newfoundland would be the place to see whimsical, colorful houses throughout! And yet it is.
Inviting, colorful, playful, they are.
Made our visit warm. Thank you to the people of St John's!

These houses, which are dotted throughout downtown St. John's are incredibly picturesque and have some interesting history behind them although the true story does not seem to have been fully substantiated.

Love the bright colours. Brief but enjoyed. Got some nice pics and there were several places to stop, get out, and view.

I loved driving and walking through the village of "jelly bean houses" --- It is a must see because every picture of NL contains the images--- Color and Connection, so remarkably the trademark of the St. John's people!
