90 Minute Walking Tour of Historic Downtown St. John's

History and learning about my surroundings is an obsession. Being deeply immersed in Canadian History and Newfoundland Culture, I have worked in Museums across Canada for nearly a decade.

My experience is difference because there are no mass tourist groups or big bus tours. My experience has small numbers which gives us an intimate atmosphere where you can connect and interact with your surroundings. You are free to ask questions and we can have deep discussions. I want to give you a firm understanding of Newfoundland History and a new perspective of the culture!

One never thinks that Newfoundland would be the place to see whimsical, colorful houses throughout! And yet it is. Inviting, colorful, playful, they are. Made our visit warm. Thank you to the people of St John's!

These houses, which are dotted throughout downtown St. John's are incredibly picturesque and have some interesting history behind them although the true story does not seem to have been fully substantiated.
