If one must work off all a night of sociializing in St. John's hiking this trail will help clear your head. The path is well maintained and well used by strollers and joggers. Almost everyone says hello.

This is where the annual Regatta is held every year . It's a wonderful place to walk there's a trail that circles the lake ...about 4 km long.

We parked our car in a parking lot along the trail and started walking. We enjoyed the scenery, local parks and monuments along the way, and got some great exercise on an easy although not short trail.

A great walk around Quidi Vidi Lake with side paths along a "history walk" adding interest and diversity to the lakeside. Add Quidi Vidi village to the walk and there is a good half day spent.

Home of the St. John's Royal Regatta. Excellent paved/packed walking trail around Quidi Vid Lake. Views of the Maximum Security Prison. No Bikes. Great for walkers and joggers, and picnickers.
